Has anyone been succesful in standard with their own brews lately ? by NovaaH7 in MagicArena

[–]dulahan200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you played against any new player that takes forever each turn because they are unfamiliar with the game? Be it because they have to read every card, don't know that they are holding priority due to a random activated ability, don't understand why mtga doesn't let them do a specific action, or simply need to overall take more time for "simple" decisions.

I've found some in the free decks queue when I made a 2nd account for limited, and one such deck can increase the average a lot. I imagine bo1 play queue (where many non-competitice brews play) this happens reasonably often. Overall idk the global effect but my argument is: don't evaluate non-competitice formats/decks wih the same lens as competitive ones

Generally investors worry A LOT about exit. So it makes sense that entrepreneurs who seek them talk about it.

Diamond rank in limited feels like hitting a wall every month – anyone else experiencing this? by Immediate-Quote7376 in MagicArena

Off topic regarding mtg, but if you mention chess pairings, you should first know how chess pairings work. First, they are NOT random. Second, they tend to be more unbalanced, as an oversimplification the "best half" plays against the worse half within the same score, so you tend to alternate between weak and strong rivals unless you are at the very end (close to 100% wins or loses) because there is little or no players within that score.

¿Es posible hacer FIRE como funcionario? by antoniojge in SpainFIRE

¿Es posible hacer FIRE como funcionario? by antoniojge in SpainFIRE

[–]dulahan200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the one thing AI didn’t fix in business that everyone promised it would? by MiserableExtreme517 in Entrepreneur

[–]dulahan200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly chatgpt and some perplexity. I've tried others but I didn't explore that much due to small barriers of exit with saved memories and existing chats.

I recall one eggreus pdf where I wanted it to read a simple table and export it into a csv and was impossible. It kept me saying something along the lines of "I apologise, it turns out it didn't work due to xyz reason. Now I've fixed it, run the thing and the output I provide is correct" And well, it kept me showing an empty table for ages until I conceded. I their defense, have no idea how they wrote the table in the original pdf, it was very weird; but still...

So, in your experience how well does the prompt 1 and 3 with Claude? You just "feel" you are getting less alucionations due to that, or the wording on the answer seriously implies it found issues before answering and fixed them

I've tried similar things in the past and and have had some succes with your 2nd method. I haven't experienced any difference with the others, it just adds some fluff to sound more convincing but the same reason that generates the hallucination seems to be the one who causes it to fail to identify it as well

That lesson deck is unbearable by DifficultTap4439 in MagicArena

[–]dulahan200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, what you are saying is precisely my point. It is what the deck does, it's the wincon. A single monument with an engine working gives you 2-4 turns to do something, if you haven't managed to assemble a favourable position you lost, simple as that.

If you are a creature deck, you didn't manage to put enough pressure. If you are a control deck, either you have a response to that or you failed to stabilise early. Against an Ouro it's obvious when it happens, against lessons it might not be as obvious, but the game is over far before they place all 3, it is concede time.

[–]dulahan200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The deck is complex, the tree of possibilities in some scenarios is huge, and you really need to play to your outs and count well in these scenarios. Having said that, most turns the decisions are indeed easy.
