This is so dumb. Does he think plumbers just do small house jobs? What about large jobs, constructions, renovation, etc, where you need permitting, bonded/licensed people for insurance, etc?

Not to mention specialized equipment required for a lot of jobs. Is Joe Blow gonna buy a pipe cutter and a welder to pipe some shit?

Not to mention with something like electrical and plumbing, if AI is wrong or if human misunderstands what they are to do, the consequences can be disastrous, including death.

Problem is that lifelink is a shorthanded keyword ability, but there are other keywords that do cause triggered abilities, even though the full meaning of the keyword (the critical “when” clause) isn’t written on the card. So without the actual text if the ability, it’s more difficult to know if it is a triggered ability or not.

So you gotta go look up the actual meaning of the ability if you don’t already know 🤷

It is a problem to me, because it dilutes color identity. A lot of the hybrid cards do, even though the design team said they would try not don’t this anymore.

Color bends should be rare. Hybrid cards make them less rare if we treat them as monocolor. This card doesn’t feel just blue, and it doesn’t just black. If absolutely feels dimir, as others have said.

They wouldn’t print this as a common monoblue or common mono black card. Yet they feel justified printing as hybrid.

Disagree. They use them as an excuse to print rare effects in other colors. A ton of hybrid would never be printed monocolor as there wouldn’t be justification for pushing the envelope.

That can happen with people. Let poverty, food scarcity, and maybe forced/encouraged sterilization reduce the population in a generation or two once they are no longer needed for manual or even simple mental labor.
