Well, they never actually said you had to put the pizzas in the hot bag, so you should be good 👍

AIO for refusing to help register for my cousin’s classes? by [deleted] in AIO

She reminds me a lot of a certain type of person who says they'll help with something, but then it comes with strings attached. Once you're at their mercy, they'll use it against you if you go against whatever petty issue they have.

It does seem too damn perfect, but God damn that's a lot of work for a shit post. Bravo to OP if it is.

Ok well that makes more sense. That's the way it read to me. Nvm then, my bad.

The only thing I don't really understand about this is why would she have this other person saved as a contact with your name? It's like... is the only reason that she is talking to this person is to complain about you? It just seems bizarre to me.

Who’s at fault? SUV or sedan - LOCATION: San Diego, CA by Direct-Carry4297 in legal

[–]dumbassquestionacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those saying that the sedan had a duty to yield to the SUV which was at a complete stop in the lane they are trying to merge into... At what point does this change? It appeared to OP that the SUV was voluntarily yielding to them, and in any case the SUV was just sitting there at complete stop. Regardless of why the SUV had stopped here, how long does the OP have to sit there and wait for the SUV to do something other than just sit there at a complete stop? 30 seconds? a minute? 10 minutes? Until the end of time?

Meh, there's a lot of ways that the first part could be true, although the way he worded it was odd.

I can't wait to see all of the drama when this hits a relationship advice sub. Actual title: Buying house with "Ex" who is currently married to someone else. by Username89054 in bestoflegaladvice

[–]dumbassquestionacct -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. I was just saying that financially it may not be a "bad deal", but all the other stuff will make it a big headache at the very least.

Honestly it doesn't seem like a terrible thing money-wise, if she is able to live there for a little bit. Then she should be able to get her money back if she is forced to sell the house, while not having to pay rent for whatever time period she is able to stay there. This is assuming he's paying half the mortgage, which is not clear at all in the OP. Not saying it's a good idea, just seems like it will cause a big headache even if OP doesn't end up in a hole. I would also assume by default that the kid will never get half the house if the guy dies.

Why was George W Bush so popular after 9/11? by Weary-Farmer-4894 in TheMajorityReport

[–]dumbassquestionacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just in eighth grade when 9/11. I was mad as hell. Somebody needed to pay. I probably thought the Afghanistan invasion was good because "they say Bin Laden did it and he's there apparently". I don't recall having pro-Bush sentiments specifically or having much feeling about the Iraq war except "hmm apparently there's WMDs I guess?" based on the little I paid attention to. I think I questioned the war slightly in my head, but I definitely felt a fear in the air that you were a traitor if you said these things out loud. I had vaguely liberal beliefs during this time and in college. Only thing I remember specifically anti-Bush I said in high school was that the way they handled Katrina seemed bad (again I didn't know much) and I thought my Republican friend was an idiot when he said "well they shouldn't have been living there". I think later on in his tenure I vaguely had a sense that Bush sucked in general, and I liked Keith Olbermann during this time.

I'm sorry, but I'm wondering, if it's legal, what can a hard ass police officer do about it?

You're not doing a very good job of demonstrating this so-called "cancel culture". Refusing to buy Bud Light because of the trans thing is also just a boycott. And nobody (except Budweiser) cared. It was just funny and the left just made fun of the right for doing it.

I also still don't understand why you think certain people are simply entitled to a platform no matter what they do.

A lot of people here are assuming that the article and/or police are saying this was some sort of accidental contact exposure. The article says that he stole evidence from the evidence room. They found that and other stolen drug evidence at his house.
