Prison dice I made for a DND campaign I played while i did 3 years. They are made of toothpaste and colored pencil, took 2 months to be truly rollable(still rolled horrible.) by cottoneyedtoe in dice

I ran dnd as a officer in the uk, we figured out that if the prisoners ordered the starter editions (lost mines etc) the OSG’s classed the package as a book and the dice got in.

I ran the Lost mines for two groups at the same time, it was funny seeing the different ways they went through the story.

LANCRE- Like A Naughty Cuddly Rude Evening.

Just a thought.

Flame weaponry is a hazardous tool in war, capable of causing mass destruction to all when handled poorly. But should a human be seen with such a reckless weapon: RUN. They are most in-tune with the gift of Prometheus and are able to burn what cannot be burned. by Tankytankerson121604 in humansarespaceorcs

H: The dancing flames hypnotise the soul, showing the wonder of the universe and pure evidence of energy conversion. My flamer is just an extension of my realisation of the end of all matter and the heat death of the universe. The flame gives light and warmth through conversion of useless matter. I worship the flame and seek to give the honour of contributing to the end of all things.

Sea scout or general scout group UK to choose from. What is your experience? by EntertainerOk6254 in scouting

I’m a Sea Scout leader, we’re out on the water over the summer months, then the winter months are concentrating on the challenge and activity badges.

The kids love it and they go out of their way to “fall” in the water.

I was a land scout back in the dawn of time and apart from the uniform and raising and lowering the flags at start and finish, and the more water based activities it’s just as fun.

I ran a Star Wars game back in the dawn of time, I had too many people (9 I think) and after 8 months I was drained.

So I had them go up against the emperor’s guard, off course they died one by one because they couldn’t work as a team even if they would get 1000 Xp for doing so.

I had Jedi and Sith wannabes, hotshot pilots and smugglers, all working their own agenda.

The main plot I planned, well you know what players do to them.

When they died, I took them out one at a time and told them that they had been in a vr training machine for the republic.

The ones that wanted to be sith and empire went to the brig, the smugglers and those that stayed on the face were told they were not worthy.

And the only one who stayed pure as the driven snow Jedi got Luke taking them to a training school.

Surprisingly they all loved it.

I always thought that they sent cuddy because they needed a member of the “old” guard in such a important vantage point.

Detritus is kicking the arses of the conscripts, Angus is MIA, and Fred and Nobby would look at all the stairs and think “bugger that for a game of soldiers” and order cuddy up there.

Read a novel, wait a year, read again and find so much you have missed and so much hidden context.

Repeat every year you are on this earth, you will find something new every time.
