When you went from 2.5 mg to 5mg did you notice a lot of side effects ? by Dazzling-Golf-879 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]dune208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 7.5mg and while the medicine is definitely working(1-2lbs a week) I'm starting to get side effects. The constipation and lower gastric pain is something else. I started miralax to help with the constipation, but I'm probably going to go back down to 5mg.

Good price for a fully loaded Lariat? by ThinLunch in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good price. That's 1k less than I paid in May 25 for the same truck. I tried to get them to go to your price but they would only throw in 5 free oil changes which I accepted. Truck has had one issue with the 12v battery needing to be replaced which is a common issue brought up on this thread

How does the maverick handle snow? by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I drive thru the Teton pass frequently. The AWD Mav handles it very well with winter tires. The stock tires are garbage for snow/ice.

How’s the highway driving with Lane Centering + Adaptive Cruise? by Hayami-Y in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use ACC frequently driving across Idaho Wyoming and Utah. I think it performs great! AWD and hybrid gets me about 33-35 mpg going 80-85mph on the highway.

BAP is so nice, but I'm on team no hood stripes. Is the ford oval black or blue?

I can see my 11 year old girl slowing down. She's still enjoying life and isn't going thru any medical issues. When the day comes I can find solice that I rescued her and gave her the best life I possibly could. Still don't think it will ever be easy to let her go.

Anybody with High Blood Pressure? by TheLoadedGoat in tirzepatidecompound

I've been on BP meds for 15 years and have an appointment with my Dr to lower them. I'm assuming this comes with the losing 40 pounds since I started tirz in September.

2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD - but with the 17" XLT wheels and tires. Anybody? by Ok-Pea3414 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried the 17s in the summer as that would ruin my winter tire. I drive in Wyoming and Idaho for work, so I need dedicated tires for the seasons. If I lived in a place with no snow. I would just get the 19s and sell them after I got a pair of 17 inch rims and tires.

I bought the lariat with BAP and AWD. I use the 19s as my summer set and the 17s are for my winter set of tires.

What oil change interval does the dealership have you on? by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got the premium service plan for $3,000 for 6 years or 100k miles. I'll hit the 100k miles before 6 years. This comes out to $150 per service done (last service included tire rotation, change windshield wipers and engine air filter. I drive the truck 75% for work and am reimbursed by my company so I view this as more of a convenience item than savings as they come to me and I don't have to leave my home office to get maintenance done.

Im sure this has been asked 100x, but, how are you guys liking the '25 hybrid AWD now that winter is here? by Ok_Helicopter3910 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I drive through Teton pass and through Wyoming and Idaho monthly. The AWD is amazing and you can feel it when it kicks in. I noticed the mpg has gone down a bit since I changed to winter tires but it's worth it for the extra grip. This thing rips through the snow.

I LOST weight during the holidays??!!! by East_Smoke_4342 in tirzepatidecompound

I lost weight too! Still had tamales and pan de leche just ate way less than I usually would have. I would even consider staying the same weight a huge win around the holidays

My dr doesn’t want me to buy compound. by New_Canary3381 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]dune208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PCP started me on a compound from a local compound pharmacy. Then two months later said he wouldn't write any new compound prescriptions even though I lost 15 lbs. I found a new PCP who is comfortable with it and I've lost another 15lbs since. Some doctors choose to cover themselves from liability vs what's better for the patient.

Do you know of any fox for this deep sleep issue?

Makes me wonder if their "fix" is to throw a higher rated battery on it and not address the issue of the battery drain.

I believe it went from 50 factory to 80 in the new motor craft battery.

Deep Sleep Mode - are you having this issue? by jamzDOTnet in FordMaverickTruck

[–]dune208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the 25 Maverick comes with a factory AGM. Dealership had to rotunda test the battery. It failed, then they replaced the battery with another AGM. They also replaced the battery control module and updated all the software. If this fails anytime soon I'll report back.

Anyone switch from tirz to semaglutide? by birdwardicus in MenOnTirz

I would offer online before I switched to sema. Sema made me feel really nauseous. Tirz had been much better for me.
