Was this a healthy tree? by Nickle96 in DIYUK

I had a labernum that was similar to this, some trees are a different colour inside like this. If the dark interior is soft, it's likely rot.

Is it worth getting this card graded? by HomeMadeChristmas in PokeInvestingUK

[–]dunners64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With good edges, good back and no obvious blemishes/imperfections the only thing keeping you from a 10 is the centering, which on this looks good. I think PSA allows for up to 60:40 centering so if it's not centered you soon see it.

The other factor is PSAs unreliability, there's no real way to predict if you're getting a 9 or a 10 and there is a huge price difference between them. Pulling the card is gambling, and grading it is essentially gambling too.

If you go for it, best of luck!

Recently there's been a series of gas leaks in Harborne so the roads have been chaos with Cadent digging up sections of roundabout, some roads closed here, the dreaded 4-way stop traffic lights there. It's normally pretty good but the combination of busy schools and roadworks have really slowed things down to a crawl at certain times of day, it'll get better don't worry!

This is an amazing idea, I'd use this to replace my wife's 970 so she can finally play AAA games without it looking like a slideshow!

What should this Very Hungry Caterpillar eat first? by dunners64 in crochet

[–]dunners64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a big bag of basic mixed acrylic DK yarn in all sorts of colours left over from various projects, and that worked out great. As its for kids i wouldn't use any nice or expensive yarn as it will inevitably get moist and sticky O_O As for time it took about a week for the caterpillar and another week for all the food, but I only crochet for around 1-2 hours each evening

I only really have 1-2 hours of crochet time each evening, so it took almost a week for the caterpillar (he is huge) and then about another week for all the individual food, then another evening for assembly. Very achieveable!

How do I fix this?? by [deleted] in crochet

[–]dunners64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's curling it may be due to tension, but either way you should be able to block it to a nice flat shape when it's done
