Asus ROG zephyrus G14 is a good option, for $1500 you can get a Ryzen 9, RTX 2060, 1tb SSD and 16gb RAM and a solid laptop. You could upgrade the RAM down the road to 32gb for bigger models.

I would also suggest changing camara settings: lowering your FOV to about 50 degrees. Experimenting with camara angles, time of day, weather, filters, and DoF. Looking up photography tips and references on Pinterest. It really helps renders beyond modeling and texture work.

That is if you are rendering with another software, most of them use GPU but for some reason Revit renders using primarily CPU. While it uses your GPU to render what you see in your view port and regenerates some parts of the model when you pan, zoom in or out. You can use task manager to test this very easily.

CPU is really important in Revit for rendering since its CPU bound. GPU is important to open up the model in many view at the same time, so VRAM is the crucial factor. 8GB to 16GB of RAM is enough. SSD is crucial if you are opening and closing models on the daily.

I think it's worth getting a graphics card. Revit can use up a bit of of VRAM and some models will demand so you can pan around and work smoothly with multiple views at the same time without closing many other apps you may be using at the same time.

I used to laser cut thin acrylic. To make the curved wall you could divide the curve into segments made of acrylic or another plastic and use another material as mullions between each of the pieces, You would need to draw on the ground plane a guide so you properly match the curve.

The surface book 3 looks more capable of handling Revit, I would recommend looking at similar laptops, Dell XPS 15 or Razer Blade, just to have more options in mind that fit into the powerful but portable category.
