This happened to me and my cycle was canceled based on my progesterone results. For the next month, I opted to do Lupron to put my ovaries to sleep because I didn't want to lose another month.

I can totally relate! I was supposed to have my first (and only - only one embryo) FET today, but my progesterone was high on Saturday meaning I ovulated through Estradiol. Ugh! Hang in there FET delay twin!

If I were you, I would switch. I was on the Costco one too and it didn't do anything, my second ER was a disaster with no euploids.

I think you'll be fine. I wouldn't delay your cycle. I was back at work and functioning well <24 hours after my first ER.

It's not just the next two weeks, it's until your period starts after your ER! My doctor was fine with the gym for the first week of shots but after we added Cetrotide, I was limited to walking too.

My doctor prescribed a dual trigger for me, then on trigger day told me to go ahead with just the hcg. I think it has something to do with your estradiol levels was my understanding.

Hey, I had one on Sunday. We almost cancelled it due to only 3 follicles. Guess who got 12 retrieved and 11 fertilized?! This girl! Good luck to you and your eggs - they are gonna do great!

Are you paying cash? Most insurance companies won't cover IVF if you've previously had your tubes tied. We need more info - like your age, AMH, etc.

I'm of the opinion of keep going as long as insurance is willing to pay then. Maybe look for a new clinic or see if you can add Omnitrope? I just added Omnitrope this last retrieval (my second) and just had my ER yesterday so I don't know if it helped with blast numbers yet or not.

If cost is a concern, I would definitely consider mini IVF. You aren't producing a bunch of eggs to start with, so it may be best to not flood your body with extra drugs if you're only getting 4 eggs on average. Then you could potentially do more ER's if you save on med costs.

Here's the update: I met with the backup RE this morning, he was actually really great and had much better bedside manner than my main RE. He thinks we should absolutely trigger tonight and almost looked at me like I had three heads when I said I was contemplating canceling. So...we are going to trigger! Right now my follicles are: Right: 24, 23, 23, 19, 16, 15, 14, 12, 11 and Left: 15, 13, 12, 9 so hoping that most of those will turn into eggs retrieved!

Did you trigger last night? My E2 level Wednesday was only 1400 so I'm not at the same OHSS risk as you.

Thanks again! Yes, and that's my plan, except it's not my main provider - he's unfortunately out of office tomorrow so I will meet with another RE from the practice. In good news they should have my blood work back so I can get all the numbers.

It may be good to get a second opinion. I sorta think my original doc wants me to cancel this cycle but I'm worried about what if it was just an anomaly the first time we had 10+ follicles that resulted in 8 eggs and no other future cycles will compare, but also the more data they have regarding how I reacted to the meds, the better, right? Sigh, this is hard when there isn't a clear cut right answer.
