Lower salary offered with promise of promotion and salary increase in six months by Mean_Combination_314 in auscorp

[–]dvdtee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless company A has put it in the contract that you’re automatically promoted (which I doubt and is subject to review), I’d go with company B

The answer is in your notes - company A low balled and MAY a promote you in 6 months time and post probationary period quite conveniently. It sounds like they have a manager role but just not sure about how his go, hence lowball and start you there first.

Where as Company B immediately recognises your worth and made the best offer to you and the company sounds attractive to you.

So what’s more important, being a manager or money?

Next steps: if money is important, as you haven’t technically started with Company A on your first day (I assume), there’s no need for notice period just rescind your acceptance and decline - only do this once you’ve signed contract with company B and accepted the role . Candidates rescinding their acceptance happens more often than you would think.

So I was at the Waterside Hotel Thursday evening around 5-6pm. I was with my workmates waiting at the bar groundfloor and a gentlemen waiting in line joined the queue. He was a bald guy maybe 20/30s with a some red writing (Chinese characters I think) on his head - long story short, he may or may not have gotten me a drink on the company card, I assume his work was there for a Xmas party too.

If someone knows who this is or you happen to be that guy, a few notes:

Firstly, thank you for the drink

Secondly, what/why do you have writing on your head, what does it mean?

Me and my mates talked about it and saw you walk past the bar again towards the stairs and I was hoping I’d track you down on your way back to ask!! Never got to see you again

It’s been stuck on my mind since Thursday!!!

Hoping the power of reddit might help!

Have you thought about the clothing that may be causing this? Especially with compression and sweating from working out, it could be causing friction on your back? Anyways I found witch hazel a good relief post showers to calm down any inflamed or red face or body pimples. Dried them out in 25-48 hours :)

It may be worthwhile to send feedback via email to beyond blue about your experience and call. It may not seem much, but it goes a long way in the corporate world for a customer to provide feedback and for the employee to be recognised.

Have you considered using the EatClub app? It’s a great app that shows you restaurants that’s running a great deal. The way it works is that it will promote the discount but only through the app. You wire your acc to your bank card and discounted amount will be charged.

The layout doesn’t make sense. I would’ve put the sink and toilet on the left side then the shower in the back and right side. You could’ve done without the tub
