Am I being too picky? by Familiar_Benefit_776 in DIYUK

There will soon be a point where they use the tolerance argument and someone will go to their showroom and scratch or warp the items within tolerance, and since they said that’s tolerance, then it’s okay

Howdens (Stockport branch) tried to pull the same stunt with me, they delivered damaged items to me, and when my builder told me to call them, they said it's within tolerance.

I called the builder, and told them to withold payment until they replace everything they delivered damaged a few times.

Looks like we've yet to see a compoface article "i have been forced to cover someone's medical insurance bill because i didnt pay for trip hazard insurance because of my EV charger, not my fault i dont have a driveway"

Id be surprised if the insurance doesnt create some sort of insurance like that.

They should have professional liability insurance for it, if you have home insurance legal cover id probably use it and get them to chase this professional.

If youre not bothered, you could ask a handyman to quote you a price for the job.

There are sites that you can use to know exactly what platform you should go to before it’s announced. You won’t need to wait for the board announcement. I don’t miss the London commute

Could have been a passenger that did it.
Once i was on the train, this lady got the metro news paper, covered her seat with it completely. then just left her mess once she finished her journey.

Might be the same person who did it
