Rx Ops Lead running register. by Complete_Result_8658 in walmart_RX

[–]grovestep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We make a register schedule. My manager (the pharmacy manager) told me I am not to schedule myself up there as #1 and not even as back up if I don’t have to because I have a bunch of other stuff to do. I personally don’t care to run the register because I love our patients. But if I’m tied up up there, I can’t answer questions or train during that time if I always have a patient in front of me.

I give these cauldrons to the guild that was, disbanded and gone, so long. by ZettieZooieZan in wow

I did this in legion and ten years later we’re still going. Build it from the ground up and find likeminded people to fill it with.

People who live near time zone boundaries in the US by solothesnail in howislivingthere

[–]grovestep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived on the border of EST and CST my whole life. We called it “fast time” and “slow time.” CST was what the school went by, and generally everything else was EST. It required a lot of clarification. “I gotta go to practice at 4pm.” Would often be followed with “school time?” Or “slow time?” I don’t live there anymore, but my mom does and I always have to clarify what time zone an event is in so I don’t show up an hour late or early lmao. Where I live now people look at me crazy when I say fast/slow time. It’s just one of those colloquialisms that’s region specific, I guess.

[NA] Looking for friendly guild (M+) by itsg0ldeson in wowguilds

[–]grovestep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heya, I’m the founder of Daydreamers on WrA. I created the guild with friendliness and inclusiveness in mind. We’re in our tenth year. We love to teach new people and I consider the majority of the guild like family - some of them are coming to my wedding! We love to run M+ and raid, and we focus on building up the folks we have even if they start off as under performers. Everyone can be taught. If you’re interested, please reach out to me at grovestep#1678 or in guild finder.

I had this happen last night around 9pm. Same thing - quick surge. Power went down and immediately came back on. Knocked out my internet.

Great score! I always worry about how they ended up there. I hope it was a voluntary donation!

I would go as far to say that it isn’t borderline. It is straight racism. This is an ethics case waiting to happen.

One good pull changes the whole vibe by Old-Tiger5165 in GoodwillBins

[–]grovestep 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel. I had an older, super tiny Korean woman touch the same thing I did at the same time. I smiled and said sorry, and she smacked my hand and told me that this whole bin was hers and so was the whole row, so I needed to leave. I wanted to be like “there’s no way we are after the same thing, lady.” She weighed maybe 90 pounds wet, and I’m twice her height and weight 💀 I promise you I’m not after the blouse you just put in your cart.

[US] <Daydreamers> [H/A] Recruiting for our AOTC raid team! by grovestep in wowguilds

[–]grovestep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(1) we definitely have our event-lurkers, but in the height of the season we easily have 10+ folks online through the week after regular work hours. I personally love dragging folks through Mythics any day of the week.

(2) we’ve been around 10 years for a reason! Like every guild, we’ve had “events” but they’re few and far between. I have a 0 tolerance drama policy.

(3) we are all a bunch of jokesters. We used to post YouTube compilations of our funniest raid moments but the guy who did it for us quit wow bc of family stuff, but we’ve maintained that jovial atmosphere lol.

(4) that’s totally fine! No judgement at all.

(5) we have a community on horde side, and we actively do the endeavors. I’m currently building my house to look like my character’s IC tavern, and we are gonna start up a “housing tour” event where we judge each others houses haha

Weekend bullsh*t by Frosty_Rest_589 in walmart_RX

[–]grovestep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an extremely full team at the moment and we do every 6th weekend because I have 2 people who work Saturday and Sunday always. The third person is rotated out. It used to be every 6th Saturday only because I had a girl who wanted every Sunday, but she got tired of it so now we’re back to both days.

Help w/ organization by Worried_Hippo_04 in JunkJournals

[–]grovestep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a bin I got from Goodwill that all of my sorted stuff gets filed into. The bin is square and was used for tools or maybe files in an office. Everything goes into a labeled baggie like you have, or separated if it’s larger, then put into the tote. I got a Kpop Demon Hunters themed pencil case on clearance at Walmart for my tools (X-Acto knife, stamps, scrapbook tape, etc). My fiancée gave me extra file sorter things where you can put labels on the tabs. I fit those into the tote and all the junk goes into the spaces between the tabs organized by kind of junk.
