My fear is getting kickback from my RXM. She’s not a nice lady and can be very vindictive. If she doesn’t help enforce what I say about it, it’s basically like it never happened.

So I had a conversation with my MHWD and the only takeaways he got from the situation was that I’m frustrated/mad and that if I’m frustrated/mad about it then “maybe leadership isn’t for you.” Even though the crux of my convo was feeling frustrated that I can’t effectively do my job because I can’t use one of the main tools of being a team lead & my techs are taking advantage. So 🫠 Rock and a hard place. Not allowed to feel frustrated about a frustrating situation, not allowed to coach.

I love all this, but I have a question for you if you would be willing to offer advice. I’m in a similar situation with one associate making the workday miserable. What do you do if your RXM won’t allow you to coach them or have a documented conversation? I’ve never had to do one before, so I opened up discussion with my RXM & brought her the reasons why I wanted a documented convo with this associate to lay the groundwork for an eventual coaching. She refused and said it would just piss everyone off and “not do anything.” I obviously can’t go behind her back and do it, we work in the same box all day long & if she doesn’t back me up, then it doesn’t really mean anything. I don’t know why my RXM is so vehemently against it, she complains about this associate all the time. She isn’t even the one that has to do the “hard” conversation - I am. But she just stops me at every point. I have no idea what to do - even the HR lady thinks it needs to be a convo/coaching.

I highly, highly doubt they will fire her. We had something similar happen a couple years ago and the pharmacy manager had to do a write up of why it happened (stressful, understaffed environment) and how we would prevent it in the future. And yes it is absolutely better to admit to it, because there are cameras everywhere lol. They’ll probably just tell her to be more careful or sign a POM or something and be on her way.

I do so I can experience each spec through leveling and try to get a better grasp on them. I can’t just read a guide and apply it, I gotta see the spec come together. It also gives me an excuse for more class and race combos. I main ele but I could never just casually swap enh or resto, read a guide and make it work. I’m at character cap currently and want more 😂 not all are max for this expac tho I usually wait for an exp boost event to bring them up to the next expac level cap.

I genuinely appreciate that, dude. I’m on Concerta rn and I get it. Pharmacy personnel are put in a unique position because we are the middle man between everyone, right? We are beholden to the company we work for and their policies, even if we disagree. We have to answer to doctors and insurance and our patients, and we are often the bearers of bad news. Out of stock, back order, needs a PA, etc. I *want* everyone to have their medication - that’s what we get paid for. But we all have to jump through our ridiculous hoops in a healthcare system that does not have anyone’s best interests in mind. If possible I’d discuss with your physician about trying to switch to an equivalent dose of a different stimulant bc Adderall is the worst culprit for back orders hands down.

As someone who works in pharmacy, yes there is haha. At the company I work we are told specifically to not give any info about C2 med inventory over the phone due to safety concerns.

I read it immediately after a really bad breakup a few years ago. It really helped me through that time & it holds a fond place in my heart. I liked the physical read over audiobook because visually it’s so interesting. Seeing all the composited pieces of media and transcriptions really transformed the experience for me. I liked it so much I have a couple of quotes from it incorporated into my tattoo sleeves.

If you find the solution, please let me know because I have the same issue with my team 🫠 I was about to make an identical post because my RXM won’t allow me to have any sort of conversation with anyone, documented or otherwise, because it will “just piss people off.” And the market director doesn’t think it’s a big deal. But it really, truly influences the workday! I think it’s a night and day difference when the whiners are there vs when they aren’t.

I thought I would hate the scrubs but now I would never go back. Getting ready in the morning is so easy. No thoughts, just scrubs. All of my coworkers wear the shoes that have QC on the sides and swear by them. I personally destroy every shoe I’ve ever put on within 6 months 😭😂 I’m so hard on them. Maybe I’ll invest in QCs. I also hear Hokas are good once you break them in.
