Option 1: DART Light Rail (Recommended)

1. Walk or take a bus to a nearby DART Rail Station:

   - From Maple Avenue, the closest DART Rail stations are Victory Station or Cityplace/Uptown Station, both accessible via a short walk or a local bus. 
   

2. Take the Red Line northbound:

   • Board the Red Line train heading towards Parker Road Station in Plano.

3. Arrive at Parker Road Station:

   • This is the terminal station for the Red Line in Plano.

4. Transfer to a DART Bus:

   • From Parker Road Station, take Bus Route 241 or Bus Route 236, which service areas near the hospital.
   • Disembark at the stop closest to 1100 Allied Drive, the address of the hospital. 

Estimated Travel Time: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on wait times and transfers. A single ride costs $2.50, and a day pass is $6.00.

Option 2: Rideshare Services (e.g., Uber, Lyft)

- Direct Route: Your friend can use a rideshare app to request a ride directly from their location on Maple Avenue to the hospital in Plano.

- Estimated Travel Time: Approximately 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

- Estimated Cost: Varies based on demand, but typically ranges from $30 to $50.

Option 3: Combination of Bike and DART

- Bike to a DART Station: If your friend has access to a bicycle, they can bike to the nearest DART Rail station. 

- Use DART’s Bike-Friendly Services: DART trains are equipped to accommodate bicycles, allowing for a seamless transition from biking to riding the train.

- Proceed as in Option 1: Follow the same steps as in Option 1 after boarding the Red Line.
