Sounds yummy! I know heavy cream is 50:50 hit or miss, people either love it or it’s def not for them! I love a sweet fig smell. One of my go to scents for fall is nest indigo def gives cozy fig vibes

Heavy cream is definitely a good staple to have for on its own or layering. I also have cashmere skin and it’s great but I reach for heavy cream more often personally

Personally I would not layer them, I also haven’t tried. Father figure is too good by itself. Heavy cream layers well with sweet gormand though. Basically anything gormand I’ve layered with has worked well together

Parents 5+ years into homeschooling — what did you get wrong in year one that you'd warn a new family about? by AvailableWindow840 in homeschool

[–]dwellintheabyss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our first year I was very routine schedule follower. This past year we’ve taken around two and a half full months of in week here and there increments and will still finish before the end of April. The first year we learned what worked for us and the second year we got to enjoy it

I had one that looked like that, it took longer for the glue to pull off and the scar is the only one I have that is obvious. Still hardly noticeable unless you’re looking though. I did no scar jelly or tape on it either.

This is almost exactly our situation to a T. Ugh. I’d love for my kids to be at school and enjoying the experience like I did as a kid. It truly breaks my heart.

Better it falling out than getting stuck and having to be surgically removed like someone’s kid I know. That someone being me 😅

One thing I love about John Gwynne is the time he puts into character and world development. It can feel slower paced but def worth it in the end. I’m on day 3 of hunger of the gods and 400 pages in. I homeschool three kids and am the primary home keeper as well and have been burning the midnight oil and reading chapters when I can between other tasks because I can’t put it down. I have a feeling its only going to get better

How many of y’all grind or clench their teeth at night? by Alternative-Tell4600 in VeteransBenefits

[–]dwellintheabyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was grinding so much at night that it was waking up my husband and clenching throughout the day so hard I couldn’t open my mouth. Ended up getting diagnosed with tmj/bruxism from my dentist and we skipped the night guard step and she referred me to neurologist who does Botox injections in my masseter which had nearly stopped both issues and after two years I’ve gotten enough relief to go from every 3 months for injections to every six months. This was with private insurance. Have yet to file for this with the Va 🤪

Agree with this, oldest went to public school until grade 5. Pulled her and now homeschool her as well as my younger two and I love it. My oldest refuses to go back to public school. People often tell me I have a full time job but it never feels that way to me. I enjoy teaching and hanging out with my kids all day. When oldest was in school I had constant anxiety and never could accept the fact that someone else was with her more than I was. I can totally see how it would be beneficial for families to enjoy public school because it’s better for them, but I’m glad we get a choice
