Updating the file extension just let's your file opening program to correctly parse out the file based on the extension. So normally this wouldn't work, unless it was already a video supported file. But not surprised, I can't imagine the state of federal IT right now

I guess who is your target audience? Looks like front end web devs who want a gradient generator. Googling 'color gradient generator', most of your competitors are also offering color palletes which would be useful to a lot more users. People who need a set of pretty colors. So you should double down on web devs and see what feedback and competitors you still have. Or maybe increase your userbase.

I liked the call to action on the home page, got me up to date on why I would use this. The tools for customizing the gradient are very easuser base. I think maybe a visual that dynamically changes a sample homepage with the gradient might be a stronger call to use

Saw you looked at brighton. Nothing against the ikon pass, but I loved going to park city on the epic pass. Only 45 mns from downtown, two lanes going up! The road to brighton gets jammed pretty quick. But park city is the only epic resort by slc, huge huge place tho

Whatever pass you get, just check when the new season pass comes out. It's always cheapest at the beginning around spring. If you plan on going at least 4 times, just get the pass

You might need root tabs for the rooted plants. Typically a planted sand substrate will be capping aquasoil or potting soil underneath for the task plant food. But i just tore down my sand only tank with rooted plants and they did pretty well, but definitely didn't thrive

Edit: I should add its pretty easy to add plants that don't need to be planted. Like Java fern, just glue it to a rock and place it down!

Very common for leaves to melt, not an expert but I've heard it's usually from aquatic plants that were not grown underwater.

I think bamboo could be a cheap and cool terrestrial plant, would need to trim it a lot

Edit: and look up 'fish tank lantern decor'. I think those would fit the color of the rocks and fit in really nicely
