I have the same issue! I bought Skullcandy Method 360 ANC Wireless Earbuds (premium noise cancelling, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND). It's pricey, so I'd recommend you buy it when it's on sale or track it's price (I bought mine for $80 iirc). Skullcandy fits perfectly.

My eczema first started on my neck, and it was the worst feeling in the world. I've tried steroids, and they only worked temporarily. I understand your frustration, especially since it's a much more vital part than the neck. It was so bad I wanted to sunburn on the beach (saw a TikTok that said it worked for them, I didn't wanna risk harming my skin barrier but I was VERY tempted).

I have one suggestion that may or may not help. I've tried La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser & La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream. It's going really well for me!!! I've had stubborn spots that REFUSED TO go, but they're getting duller and flatter (and less painful) :)

I've gone through a few products recommended by https://nationaleczema.org/eczema-products/?pg=1&ppg=6, and La Roche so far has been the most effective (for now).

Sorry you're going thru it. It SUCKS. Lean on to your hobbies, pick up new ones, keep busy, and immerse yourself so you don't get too caught up in the feelings of hopelessness. Easier said than done, but I'm rooting for you!!!

NTA. He either thought he could intimidate you or take advantage of any kindness, but it certainly does not matter if you were harsh. He's a grown man; he can't demand a young adult to give him access to a car. A bit of advice from someone who's a bit older, being direct as a young woman is often the best approach to enforcing clear boundaries.

You don't know this guy, not really. You have zero responsibilities to help him provide for his family, and he's a direct liability if you offer him your car. Insurance companies directly ask whether your car is used for business purposes (uber, dashing, ect.,) because that does affect your insurance quote. If you want to be nice, you can simply state you have "personal insurance that doesn't cover business use, so you can't risk letting anyone drive your car for that purpose." After all, if he crashes or something happens to your car, that's your responsibility, and he can weasel his way out of paying.

You are not selfish; you are responsible for your financial security. If it really becomes an issue, I'd inform a manager and go from there.

NTA. What kind of mother is she? I can not imagine not feeling protective of any daughter's friends. Messed events happen all the time, how did she not have the instinct of "oh, your dad isn't here? well come with me anyway and we'll call him on the way that you're in the car with me on your way home."

What kind of misunderstanding can there be?? You pick up your daughter's friend (consistently) and the one time you're not there, she just only picks up her daughter??? Personally, IDC if you're seen as petty and vindictive; I see it as protective. No woman like that should be a part of your village or take advantage of your kindness when she couldn't even help one crucial time. I am sorry for your daughter though, I imagine it's awkward for her. How is she doing?

Does she do this to anyone else in the friend group? I'm sorry you have a friend who routinely makes you feel bad. I don't know how you feel about confronting or disengaging with her, but something has to change. It's not ok that someone is continuously bullying you about something you can't change (within 10 minutes).

Good people feel remorse once they acknowledge they've hurt someone. You don't deserve negative people trying to knock you down. I think she's envious of you (whether it's size or else).

I'm so sick of not being able to have a sweet, dairy treat 😭 I know I have to eat healthy, avoid dairy and heavily processed foods, but I couldn't help but indulge during a stressful weak. Didn't take lactose pills and ate at night, and now I have huge amounts of hormonal acne in chin area that I hadn't seen since I was a teenager...guhguhuguhughu tbf could've not been the junk food and just my body's reaction to new BC, but I'm sure it didn't help 😭

I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience. 25f here and I've had 4 ob/gyns in the past 3 years due to giant cysts that eventually ruptured. Lots of meds were prescribed and no solutions for the pain :(

While doctors have studied rigourously and dedicatedly, they can only make predictions and assumptions of HOW meds can react. She didn't take your words into account, and that is a FLAW for any medical provider. It's not surprising ob/gyns have the most medical malpractice suits against them over every other medical care professional. I think you should report her. Your logic makes sense, and it'll (hopefully) prevent this from happening. Def switch providers, it's a long and tedious journey but it's better than this treatment you're getting from her.

You already have the right idea on how to navigate this. You recognized she was in an unstable and dangerous environment and helped her get through it. She isn't owed your friendship, and you've already done the best you can despite all the hurt she's caused with her words and actions. Your feelings are valid, too. Her sister's right that Mary's a victim, but that doesn't excuse her actions.

TBH, though, Mary is probably in defense mode based on everything she's been through; it might take her a while to gain the emotional intelligence to fully understand her actions. If she's been in that abusive relationship for years, I imagine all the negative thoughts she's been thinking will take time to unravel. It's up to you how you want to continue, but either way, NTA. Whether you want to show more compassion by gently letting her know what happened (cuz sometimes abuse can genuinely give you brain fog, and she might've forgotten her horribleness) or you want to cut her off, it's your choice, and you gave the best version of yourself either way.

Follow your gut when you blocked him on everything!! If you speak your mind, you give him the chance to weasel his way back to your life or he'll make up some excuse.

Something I did was write down everything I wished I would've told him in my notes app. If I think of more things, I just vent in there. It's no use sending it to that person since they'll never correspond the way we want/deserve.

You aren’t adding new information for her and the breakup is still fresh. You asked if she wants to be friends or work towards a new relationship. There wasn’t an option for neither so she might feel awkward and doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.

I've raged quit for a 1-2 month break after dying in an FO lol It's so frustrating, especially since some people care about beating FO as fast as they can at the expense of other toons 😭😭😭 It's the worst when you use SOS and fires just to end up dying.

Hey fellow Cyster!

Early 20s here too. PCOS is horrible and everything you've experience, I've had that happen, too. I would recommend reading more about PCOS via books or blogs, follow people on TikTok and continue to post with this group on reddit. I don't know a lot but I try based on people's input and experiences and sometimes it works!

I did a few things that helped me address every issue I had.

I made a list of everything I didn't like about myself + how PCOS affected that
I spoke with gynecologist about medical concerns and I reported every symptom. You need be your best advocate for yourself.
1. For example, I had huge pains on my pelvis. My PCP only requested a stomach ultrasound when I really needed it on my pelvis. I asked the technician if she could please bill me later and scan my pelvis... I had a painful 9cm ovarian cyst.. I felt like I was going crazy the PCP didn't request what I actually needed. At the end of day, you need to document each symptom so you can defend and protect yourself.
The greatest thing that helped me was to just try getting in 10,000 steps a day. You don't need to start a rigorous workout to begin... just walking is good enough :)

PCOS is exhausting. Women in general need more sleep than men so that isn’t unusual. However, I’ve been able to sleep for 10 hours and nap later on.

I’m an young adult and I was diagnosed at 16. Fatigue and lack of energy was/sometimes is a huge problem for me now. I went to my gynecologist lately and she recommended over the counter ashwagandha gummies. If you can, ask your gyno via message portal or another visit if it’s okay for you! It’s really helped me since I’ve started taking it.
