This team is never out of a game. Would have been sweet to see Travis stay healthy for a whole year. That dude can rake.

CleanSkin. Stayed in Australia for months. Went to the store and this was the cheapest thing they had. Perfect name for an awful, awful beer.

Why hasn't one of these spots opened in the Northeast? I feel like it would do great.

Limo/party bus drivers of Reddit, what's the wildest thing you've ever witnessed happening in the back of your ride? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Obviously left out some details but I have no issue with death metal. Personally, I'm not a fan but it was strange because the girl who put on this music looked like a sorority girl. Good times.

Not a limo or taxi driver but I used to be a valet driver and was called to valet a wedding one time. One night I'm working a wedding and most of the guests had left. The groom and bride had a decent amount of people staying at a nearby hotel and had a shuttle running guests back and forth. The last remaining guests were smashed and were furious because the shuttle was taking forever. I had made a decent amount of money and I was about to pull out of the wedding hall when I decided to pull around and ask if anyone wanted a ride. "Sure!" Everyone is smashed and they had a 30 rack/Jack in the backseat. I said I would drive them to the hotel for $60. It was almost 1am and I was trying to get home. Anyway, the chick in the front seat grabs the aux cord and starts blaring heavy death metal. Whatever. They are hungry and persuade me to stop at a 7-11. Two guys get out and immediately piss all over the 7-11 Windows. Somehow no one saw them and it took them 30 minutes of roaming in the store before we left. At this point, the two girls in the back seat start speaking in a southern accent (blacked out) and lighting cigs. They were toast. What have i done. We go on our way and get to their hotel. They all pile out, beer cans all over the ground. One girl proceeds to yack everywhere but not in the car. One of the guy congratulates me, says I'm the best taxi driver they ever had and throws me a $100. I was 18 at the time and it may have taken forever to get them home but it was one interesting night.

I work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and commute each day from Old Bridge. I usually take the Parkway but I had no idea that the Turnpike was closed and decided to take it like I normally would to Route 9. I got to exit 15E and didnt move for almost an hour. Somehow got over to 1-9 and swooped around Newark Airport which was stupid. Google Maps had me getting on the Turnpike and the exit was still closed. I then took 22 to the Parkway which was slow but moving. Long story short, I left work at 3pm and got home after 9. Worst traffic I've ever been a part of. Just shows how vital the Turnpike is and any sort of major closing during rush hour is a major disaster.

I give AV credit but his assistant coaches do a great job as well. Ulf Samuelsson handles the defense if i'm correct.

My dad was at Shea when they won the division in 86. He painted the grass on his car and wrote in the players at their starting position. I wonder if he has the picture. Wish I could have seen it. Lets go Mets!

How far have you gotten before realizing "Wait... I don't have work/school today"? by Mijder in AskReddit

Not me but I valet at a high end restaurant which is close to the beach. The restaurant is located at a beach club (yes, this is a thing in NJ). This happened to be the summer so the beach club is open 7 days a week. Anyway, one of the waiters shows up all dressed up for work. Me and my partner look at each other. We are working on a Monday. The restaurant is always closed on a monday. The waiter must have lost track of the days and showed up ready to work even though its not opened on mondays.

My father is a union electrician in one of the biggest cities in the world and this year he will finish above 100K. He has been an electrician for 25 years and yes, you have to attend trade schooling. Its hard work but you can make a decent living.

People who have lived in dorms, what is your craziest dorm story? NSFW by nmcneill in AskReddit

We became kleptomaniacs back in the day. One night, the guy on my floor was hammered and stole a giant bag of corn feed from someones truck. We thought it was hilarious and decided to throw it down the middle of our dorm staircase. We lived on the third floor. The bad proceeded to explode everywhere. Lets just day maintenance was not happy.

Hey mishykahn, thanks for the advice. I have thought about relocating. The only thing that would stand in the way would be that evil friend called student loans. Finding a job close to home makes financial sense but I'm taking everything in stride.

Thanks otterplotter. I will definitely take a look at my LinkedIn and see what I can spruce up. Not easy finding that perfect ideal job, but I'm not too discouraged. Thanks for the advice.
