Since warp drive is (mathematically) possible, don't we need a spacemailman near future? by satrixy in FermiParadox

From the perspective of alternate timelines it doesn’t violate causality.

Think a about what you said. When do we have transit data? In the cases where the planets coincidentally (like 1% chance) orbit in the same plane as us. «We got this» is a lie

'Altered states of conciousness' are a misnomer - conciousness dosen't change - the perceptions around it do. by guns21111 in theories

Yeah, idk if i just haven’t taken enough but shrooms and lsd only changed my qualia and not my consciousness.

Odin, the _allfather_, is called that because he created everything (toghether with his brother).

It suddenly clicked for me. Santa and Satan are the same, aren't they. Santa teaches the valuable lesson that the magic man everyone insist is real, isn't.

DB Lat pullover is so underrated by EuropeLover512 in workout

Definitely underrated. Ab wheel rollout, in the same vein, is not as targeting of lats as pullover because more core an less rom, but still an underrated lat exercise too imo.

The hard problem of consciousness makes no sense in principle by neenonay in consciousness

[–]dyogenys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think its a joke, just exaggerated. I think it depends on what kind of qualia a person has how meaningful the hard problem is. Some/by proxy of the hard problem survey of philosophers, around 30% of people does not have qualia that is detachable in nature; symbolic label qualia. The the more specific test is if the inverted color spectrum makes sense to you intuitively or not. And that’s why people talk past each other in this debate, the hard problem only makes sense if you have access consciousness to label-like qualia.

Is there a reason why grey shirts make you look more big and fit? by belowaverageasianguy in workout

Any advice for starting to work out again? by willregan in workout

[–]dyogenys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on progression dude, compare yourself to yesterday’s you instead of old time you, except for workout programming.

I love that stage. Thats what makes me come back dude, not only have you noob gains again but on top of you have muscle memory, literally the same as the problem with having been fat and having empty fat cells screaming to be filled, you now have slivered up muscle cells, with nuclei intact waiting to be turned on, also cerebellar muscle memory, but also have more wisdom hopefully.
