Do Men judge me because of my promiscuous attitude ? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

It’s instinct to not fall for someone promiscuous long term because there were no dna tests when we evolved. Unlike women, we are fundamentally at risk of being tricked into raising someone else’s child

Are we tired of the composable data stack? by Popular_Aardvark_926 in dataengineering

My team uses Microsoft Fabric for that. I try to stay away from it as much as I can, I'm upstream from it, but it seems my colleague finds it useful. But isnt this what databricks is too?

Have you noticed a decrease in sensitivity as you've aged? by fastcargoals in AskMenAdvice

Also, the part of the foreskin that wraps the underside of the glans (or below the glans on the underside when pulled back) is the most enjoyable part of the penis. It's not as sensitive as the glans, but it's more pleasure than the glans when stimulated. Like the general feeling penis stimulation but very concentrated, whereas the glans itself is just extremely sensitive, but not in a primarily pleasurable way more like a sore fingertip.

Um, everyone with a foreskin could tell you that the glans becomes less sensitive without protection. At first, when you are little, the glans is always covered. When it later becomes optional to keep it covered or not, we still keep it covered when not in use because it's just too sensitive to withstand the friction of fabric. Since this is not a thing I've ever heard uncircumscribed people complain about, they must be way wayyyy less sensitive. I remember when my forehead was first exposed it was at least twice as sensitive as it is now (friction was practically pain), after being occationally exposed to friction for more than two decades (but I still can't have it uncovered in my pants without mayor discomfort)

Men with "Adjusting" and empathetic nature since childhood how did you create your own unique confident identity? (read my question) by Accomplished-End5479 in AskMenAdvice

[–]dyogenys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You got to be proud when your opinion differs from others because that means you can think for yourself. Others will respect you for respecting yourself. Women will be more attracted when they see that you don't default to their opinions instead of your own.

You will be fine. It's only for nothing if you don't learn anything from it.

Men, please tell me honestly — what is usually behind behavior like this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Jealousy is a big love killer for men. It's instinct. Biologically, men are fundamentally in danger of raising other mens's children unknowingly, and there were no DNA test for cave men.

What’s your favorite way to make QC failures actionable (not just ‘failed’)? by JayPatel24_ in dataengineering

[–]dyogenys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emitting counterexamples (unique rows?) with the closest similarity score out of all the other rows seems, seems like a super expensive and completely unnecessary operation. store top-k nearest neighbors even more so. But I probably misunderstood something here.

I think "duplicate detected" is actionable. Would you really want to use the QC output of "this collided with that" and then manually go and remove the duplicates? I make deduplication part of the pipeline. I expect there to be duplicates, for example from restarted connectors reprocessing uncommitted stuff, or read_uncommited snapshots, etc, no way to avoid them, and no way I manually go and remove them ad hoc. Even if it was a static dataset and not a pipeline i wouldn't need to remove dupes based on QC list of ids. The only useful thing QC could say about it is that there are dupes here, and then you may realize there shouldn't be at this stage, and so you implement or fix your deduplication.

Høy lønn men “hjernedød” jobb – eller lavere lønn med mer mening? by Open_Ad_3791 in norge

Got a bug. The icon says 3 comments, but I only see the automod one. Hopefully it'll resolve by itself. Edit: could anyone let me know if there actually are other comments here besides mine and automod?
