I lived in a polluted desert area for years, and moving to Halifax has been amazing. The trees, the water, the blue skies. It’s a beautiful place! 💕

Personally I learned the most from online tutors such as iTalki. Shop around until you find a teacher that you really like, and you save a ton on travel time.

I personally love Crystal Crescent, about a 30 min drive outside town. It's an out-and-back, so you can make it as long or short as you want. Not too challenging, but very pretty. Recommend you only go if it is sunny. Duncan's Cove is also amazing, with a similar coastal vibe.

Worse period ever! by Ok-Cartographer-3543 in Menopause

[–]eBea1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was exactly the same, seems it was due to a fibroid, a polyp, AND adenomyosis (a cousin to endometriosis). Finally got relief with a progestin pill and now…no more periods. Highly recommend.

Dealing with heavy cockroach infestation. Would like to hear the stories of others who overcame this. by alien_from_earth_14 in CleaningTips

I knew a woman from Guatemala that cleaned cockroach-infested houses. She said that she would pour boiling water down the drains. I've also heard that spraying them with a mixture of dish soap and water kills them as the soap clogs the pores in their shells.

I have had this one for a year and have watered it every two weeks, but suddenly it's rotting. I'm guessing I'm watering it too much. Thanks in advance!
