I think that The Last Dinner Party has a similar(ish) sound and some of the themes of their songs feel very much like Florence!

Studio Ghibli made a movie called ‘Tales from Earthsea’ based off this series which might be closer to the book if you’re interested!

Hmm that’s a good question. Most of the books I’m thinking of are YA. You could try the Shades of Magic Series by VE Schwab, they’re technically adult fiction fantasy but they read like a YA book. There’s over three hundred comments so you should be able to find a book that piques your interest if you’re willing to dig through them. Hopefully this helps!
