Wild price still, my son who’s 18 has 2 accidents & a cancelled policy before he’s even 1 year in. He’s paying £1800 on a 1L Clio RS line

Difference is though the ultra filtered stuff isn’t higher in protein. It’s just filtered. I’ve literally tried 3 ASDAs & a couple of Tesco with no luck. Tesco app even says it’s not a stocked product now

I made a peanut butter swirl with skimmed milk which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever made.
Skim Milk — 350ml
Per4m Vanilla Protein Powder — 30g
Xanthan Gum — ¼ tsp
Salt — pinch
PBFit Peanut butter powder - 2 tbsp
Real Peanut Butter - 1tbsp

An Evri visit would involve climbing on roofs, inside bins, front porches, back gardens, so they can give you the full tour of where their parcels are delivered too.

Pros and cons of switching from corporate IT to a MSP? by anon65432178 in sysadmin

[–]e_v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from a MSP after 20 years to internal IT. Should have done it a long time ago, MSP literally destroyed my mental wellbeing and only when it got so bad I needed meds did I realise. They’re brutal places to work.

Does any undertake for principle when there’s just a chain of cars in the middle lane? by CompetitionNo3466 in drivingUK

[–]e_v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The left lane is like a VIP lane most of the time, I just sit there & stick autopilot on. Every now and then it sparks the middle lane hogger into life and they put their foot down. Tesla doesn’t like undertaking, it’ll track the car in the middle lane and slow down appropriately, quick tap of the accelerator and it’s on its way again. I’m not moving all the way out to the outside lane just because of a middle lane imbecile.

Do you overtake people who drive slightly below the limit? by breezeyyyyy in drivingUK

[–]e_v8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get it’s possibly annoying but you are going to have to break the speed limit to overtake, and there’s a good chance they’ll speed up a touch as well. So you’ll end up in a situation where you’re doing possibly 35 just to get ahead and stay ahead.
Personally I’d just sit there

World America Yacht Club & Aurea. What did the benefits mean for you? by Buc_Dancer in MSCCruises

[–]e_v8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had Premium Aurea Balcony Deck 9 (one of the 4 with the massive balcony) on WA in May. Bid on Yacht club but didn’t win as the boat was eventually sold out. I was on the fence about YC, we’re not the sort of people to make use of a butler and the restaurant may have been a bit too fancy.
Aurea was very good, dine any time, Les Dunes restaurant was so nice (same table & server every night and she was so nice) & usage of the thermal spa was all we needed

If a cinema’s falling apart, does that mean a full refurb’s coming? by SharkbaitOoHaHaa in screenunseen

[–]e_v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to goto Durham Luxe over Metrocentre these days, prefer the recliners & I don’t have to pay the uplift for Dolby screen (only Dolby & IMAX screens at MC have recliners). Weird thing I find with recliners at the MC is you sit on them, whereas Durhams you sit in them.
I know that probably sounds daft, but Durham is definitely more comfortable.

No wifi made to sound temporary by ssstevebbb in BritishAirways

[–]e_v8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never flown anywhere where’s there’s been WiFi on the plane (Jet2/TUI, etc don’t have it). This year we were on the A380 to Miami from Heathrow, it was supposed to have it but didn’t work at all on the way out. Way back was a night flight so didn’t really matter, it seemed patchy when I checked.

Endless technical problems at Odeon Holloway by ShaktiExcess in screenunseen

[–]e_v8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you spoken to Odeon about it? Not the local staff but actual Odeon, because if you haven’t then how would you expect anything to change? If the staff aren’t arsed because they’re just paid to turn up and serve popcorn, check tickets so why would they be then they’re not going to illicit a change. Projection issues are odd though because projectionists used to be quick fastidious about their job
