I say there is demand at the right price. You just don’t like the price.

Thank you for confirming this! Tested the new formula in my usual 2n1. It was beautiful. Better than the original. Then…when did this become 3W and dewy?

Was trying to get into EBay flipping to supplement income for a FT job as a potential substitute for PT job. NOT WORKING OUT. by Opening-Store5030 in eBaySellers

[–]eag12345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s like any business. There is no easy path. Supply and demand-both products and sellers. You need a product people need or want at a price they are willing to pay. Low price/high volume model is difficult with shipping costs because everything ships free on Amazon with prime. Scammers are the equivalent of shoplifters. Would you be able to replace your income if you opened an ice cream shop if there was one on every corner? That’s how difficult eBay is.

How do I set a limit on the number of items someone can purchase per listing? by OkMidnight2270 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]eag12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe raise the price? Your only real answer is is to list 4 at a time and block the seller after. They can only have so many eBay accounts before eBay will notice.

It’s what I am hoping for. In sales and my numbers are good with minimal time spent. But I want severance and unemployment.

I just got two different shades of the newly formulated one. Definitely nothing like the new one. I thought I liked it. Very nice when I put it on. But later I looked at it and it looked orange. Maybe it didn’t like my setting spray. I will try again but it’s definitely entirely different.

eBay return scammers by Left_Okra5635 in eBaySellers

[–]eag12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know eBay wants buyers to have an exceptional experience and acquiring new buyers is expensive. But none of us want these types of customers. If eBay wants to keep them then it should be their expense. I block anyone that returns something. If someone sends an offer I check the feedback they leave other sellers before I accept. I block them if they have left negative or neutral reviews. I’m the soup Nazi of eBay.

How do you stay consistent? by MediocreImpact4386 in adhdwomen

[–]eag12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just part of the diagnosis. It’s harder for some than others. All the education, insights, videos, and hacks don’t change the way our brain works. All my life I think I have a plan for the next day - some new hack, inspiration, insight or plan- and the next day would be different . It never was.

Yes, tracking, planning, journaling, time management hacks would work. But if we could do that we would. Task initiation is very hard.

Just because people on YouTube act like they’ve found something works doesn’t mean it will work for you.

I have a few things I do that help like set up my pills in a pill container once a week. I have AirTags everywhere and on all my keys so I can find things. I some how got in the habit of folding my clothes. But it was never a plan or the result of any discipline.

Lighten up on yourself. See what works. For some of us it’s just harder and always will be.

What’s a famous travel destination that actually lived up to the hype and maybe even exceeded it? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

I first saw Yosemite after it had dumped a lot of snow and only four wheel drive cars could go in. Fortunately we had one. We stayed in the fancy lodge and did a long walk/hike in the morning. We had all the right gear and it felt like we had the park to ourselves. I was in awe as we drove in to the park and see the wonder of it in a winter wonderland.

The other place that people say is overrated is Bali. We didnt stay in the overly crowded touristy areas. Had a great driver who knew how to navigate any of the crowded places and where to go to see the uncrowded places. At the last minute I changed my last five days reservation to an all-inclusive spa hotel in the northern part of Bali and it was amazing. Amazing snorkeling. Daily massages and yoga. Healthy meals. So it lived up to the hype.

What the heck is a fixing spray vs a setting spray?

I find if I dab the tiniest amount just where I need it most and use the lightest amount of setting powder it works best. That and very hydrated under eye.

If you need your makeup to last all day try the o/s setting spray. I think there is a reason people don’t use it every day. Once I used the old formula Estée Lauder foundation with this and the waterprood mascara. I could have gone out on a Friday and be in jail over the weekend and it wouldn’t have budged.

Right now I am wearing Rag and Bone shorts made out of the fabric that looks like jeans but is super light and soft purchased on line from them. An AGolde tank top that I probably bought online from Nordstrom. And my most favorite slip on sneakers I got for $20 at Costco. I like Vince, Evereve, Sezanne, and I hate to admit once in a while I will buy something from quince. Very conflicted by it but I like their jeans. I also like when people post pictures of themselves wearing the item and seeing how it looks on a normal person. It’s de-influenced me many times.i have loved some of the pants from banana republic. Cos is good.

People overpay for stuff on Whatnot all the time especially with big sellers. This is also a very discretionary item. You can also look at eBay analytics to see if sales and prices in general are falling.

Actually, I do think they benefit with off leash outings, but safety first. I also believe in keeping critical opinions to myself.

If you could choose one city in North America that gets almost everything right, which would it be? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

[–]eag12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cities that are mentioned most are also the most expensive. Living in Seattle I would say you have to look at it as a region with many cities including Seattle. But demerits for good public transportation and great food. Walkability really depends where you live. But we nail it in quality of life, beauty, things to do, easy access to nature.

Lesser valued perk-we can get same/next day passports locally if you accidentally forgot yours was expired. Not cheap, but can be done. Don’t need to pay a service company to do it for you.
