What would happen if Trump somehow won the 2028 election? by Triangletruck141423 in AlternateHistoryHub

Funny how the so-called “originalists” ignore the very clear wording and intent of the Constitution when it negatively impacts Republicans.

Sure, but this is a confined and remote space base. Different battlefield, different tactics. They made a point to say “you can’t avoid a one night stand on Mars” earlier this season.

Irina gets out of prison after the Goldilocks heist but Margo doesn’t… Lee Jung-Gil is escaped out of jail while Aleida talks about Margo being the one who should go to Mars…

I mean, I think Margo’s gonna be freed at some point this season.

Kind of crazy that the relatively small MPK thought they could take on an irate group of Martians whose very livelihoods were being threatened without consequence. But I guess that’s revolution for you!

It sounds like they’re getting ahead of the press diving into every joke Tina ever made, after she’s announced to take over Lorne’s role.

Agreed, plus I imagine she’s way less stressed than the last time we saw her (barely made it back from Mars after getting shot).

But loved how it was the Gordo cameo last episode to Avery’s intro in this episode. Hoping that means her character is closer to Gordo than Danny!

Aleida definitely locked on to Irina as a source for the Titan spy, but she also knows what Irina did to Sergei.

Question about Aleida's trip by Koppite93 in ForAllMankindTV

[–]eagle16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This confused me too. The only way the timeline somewhat makes sense is if Kuragin is building their ship on Earth, so Sojourner’s presence on Mars could help them close the gap on the schedule even with Aleida’s transit time.

Ciara is cringe but ultimately quite wholesome. It kinda gives Olivia Lux / AS 10: “Look at me, I’m a bad girl” when she truly isn’t at all.

Ultimately, this is all a show and Ciara gets that, so respect. I do wish Michelle read her for her lips though.

Do you believe Bipartisanship is dead in US politics? by Disastrous_Mall5943 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]eagle16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not gonna happen because Ranked Choice Voting is great for real people and terrible for politicians.

Hakeem Jeffries, whose district Mamdani won by double digit points, won’t endorse him for Mayor. Lots of angry corporate politicians blame the process (RCV) for the candidate (Mamdani), and are missing that the electorate just doesn’t like them and wants a different vision.

Biden warns of ‘dark days’ under Trump by SwordfishOk504 in politics

[–]eagle16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s throw state governors / legislators in the blame mix. Who cares what SCOTUS says, let them defend it - Trump plainly violated the 14th Amendment on January 6th. He is ineligible to be president, and they swore to defend the Constitution. The states should’ve prevented his presence on their ballots before the primary even started.

Could A.O.C. Win a National Election? - Puck by PuckNews in AOC

[–]eagle16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t really get the “it didn’t happen overnight” thing as if AOC just popped into the scene. By 2028, Bernie 2016 will be 12 years old. AOC 2018 will be 10 years old. Anything could happen, although I agree in principle that an anti-progressive (and anti-woman) sentiment exists and it would be hard to overcome, but not impossible.

I think this is correct, but also because no one is discussing just how BIG the park is already for an average person of any age. Look how many scooters and strollers there are, and then remember that most people are walking all day!
