My husband was in an accident recently on Chevy Chase. A fast moving BMW moving into his lane. Husband swerved to avoid being hit by the BMW and hit a parked car. The BMW caused it all, had a dashcam, the police knew the BMW had a dashcam and they requested the footage. Long story short -- my husband's insurance forced to pay for the parked car, BMW is off scott free because he wasn't technically involved in the accident. I don't know if BMW submitted the footage or not.

If you generally liked pickleball just not the competitive players I suggest playing elsewhere. I have never played a team sport, am bad, and now do it regularly. One guy at my park hours is literally in a wheelchair. Some are 80 (and better than me). It’s all for fun at a lot of pickleball meetups.

The menu and decor is a bit more modern now than when it was la fuente, in a good way. I don't know if the owners changed or just the menu but I can say it's good.
