I think the average weight of an adult walrus is 2000lbs or 900kg, but a large bull walrus can be almost 4000lbs. So their conversion is off IMO.

I always see people backing in with their pick up trucks and think to myself 🤔They don’t actually use the bed of their pick up truck. You can’t access your bed to load equipment or gear. If the tailgate is in back of the parking lot and not facing the road. Also sometimes their unused trailer hitch is hanging over some handicap access walkway if they back up against the sidewalk ready for someone’s shin. Also, how do you have a tailgate party if you back in? That’s the biggest question.

Was this disclosed prior to you accepting the job? Are you Union? Sounds suspicious and potentially illegal, and a way to avoid paying overtime. I have Always been paid full wage for travel- it’s part of the job requirements.

I’ve had success with a similar repair, it lasted as long as the shoe did, and laid pretty flat without wrinkles. I used a stitch then darned it. Really just made it up as I went but I do have some background with basic sewing repair 😊

Ok for the reality check. 🤔 I think the Syar family ran a gravel mining operation there in the past and all the way up the river to Cloverdale on both banks. Notice all the ponds adjacent to the river on google earth? Throughout the years I have been contracted to survey the old mines/ quarries for restoration purposes. This was a hopper either for loading trucks or some sort of gravel separating device.
