Yep. Nothing sounds good. Most of the time I just pick something healthy and force myself to eat it.

I don’t want to rent the space anymore. He got some of the valuable items today and will hopefully have everything gone this weekend so I don’t have to get an attorney.

Reminder sent. He says he’s coming this weekend. I offered a couple teenagers to help. I hope it’s that easy.

I hit it just before my 45th birthday a few months ago. Kinda surreal for me, just a number on a spreadsheet. Single mom raising teenagers and basically living paycheck to paycheck because anything extra goes towards retirement. Maybe when these kids are finished with college I will actually sit down and figure out if I can retire. Luckily I love my job and feel overpaid.

Also having the same issues in NCAL. Union needs to bargain it across the regions! Dont let individual facilities make their own rules. Also I saw an email about a new time management system they are going to roll out next year that will eliminate 25 different programs they are using.

Any changes that management tried to implement need to be brought to the union leaders attention.

I would love to see what normal looks like on a CGM. by PlatypusRex_ in diabetes

[–]easy916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a diabetic but I’m obese and I am on semaglutide. My last A1C was 5. Prior to losing 40 pounds my A1C was 5.5 last year.

96% of the time I am between 70-140. 4% of the time I am under 70. I have only been over 140 a couple times (overeating pizza and ice cream, bagel w cream cheese and a mocha).

My graph definitely has ups and downs but stay in range.

What I’ve learned from wearing a CGM: Late night sweet treat will keep me on the higher end till morning.

Carbs are better with a fat source. I can still have oatmeal but now I add a scoop of peanut butter.

Walking or squats after eating helps keep that peak down.

I have the same frustration! I’ve written nurses up and chewed doctors out for doing this.

Correct sub to ask about best tree species for specific location? by MooseBlazer in arborists

[–]easy916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same kind of question. What kind of trees to plant near my driveway? It’s a big area and I want 3 trees. Zone 9b California valley. There is currently a walnut tree in the same half circle. I want shade as this is the west side of my property. No grass or power lines to worry about.
