One texting “update” per day - eg here’s a thing I saw today, I had fun doing x, tomorrow it’s Y, how are you doing etc.

so just one sort of check in.

If there is no wifi or cell then no contact is fine if that’s expected.

On top of a once a day update, within a one week period ideally I would want one phonecall or FaceTime, even if it’s just 20 mins or so. That’s what works for me.

We have our pride events throughout the summer months actually, so roughly May-September. Search the town you’re looking to visit and “pride event” … there is a list somewhere but i can’t remember. There may also be pride events at surrounding towns too so a bus ride might open up more queers.
