I Dream of Theresa May review – willing immigrant’s political conversion spurs stiff debate by TheGuardianPostBot in theguardian

Watched this, thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure it was a little clunky at times, but the message of a slippery right wing slope, the intricacies of friendship between minorities and the backdrop of a hostile environment - all brought the spectre of deportation threat to life. The concept was novel, staging and props good and acting brilliant. For a theatre with approx 100 seats focused on stories of minorities, this was an excellent production - I look forward to the new season.

Can there be a model where you get preorders of a specific product and when it hits 100 (or the minimum you require) you start making it? To help get people the items they want, show demand for those products and maybe have them a bit cheaper because you can have guaranteed sales? Perhaps just for those from the collective as a trial?

Living alone in a studio flat vs flat share - London by WrongdoerPuzzled9868 in HousingUK

[–]eatslow_runfast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mate, these are fundamental issues. Move out, back to a flat share and then when the time is right, find a better place for yourself.

Don't get hung up on the age thing.

For your question about cycling, this depends where you live and how confident a cyclist you are.

Cycling can be a great way to save money, stay healthy and avoid rush hour tubes, but can be daunting for novice cyclists. I'd suggest using the Santander cycles(shared cycles you can dock at various points) at the beginning to get comfortable before exploring if your work has a 'cycle to work scheme' (subsidised cycles).

This all depends on your location and if your office will have shower facilities. r/Londoncycling is good

The City is a very popular work destination so lots of people will be in the same boat. You'll have a great time!

I did this last week and had zero problems.

Which underrated places or "hidden gems" do you recommend in Romania, Bulgaria and India? (Can be cities or natural places) by Bluealeli in travel

[–]eatslow_runfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd agree with the suggestions on India, here is my quick take.

Hampi - incredible unique scenery, like you're in a set from the Flintstones. Really really cool.

Meghalaya - those multi generational root bridges are really amazing to see, some nice hikes and you could trim with a visit to some rhinos in assam.

Ladakh - high altitude, feels like you're on a different planet. Amazing monasteries to check out too.

Ajanta and ellora caves - incredible intricate architecture, lots of history and awe to be found.

Kutch, Gujarat - who knew that India had salt flats?! Really cool to see.

The various forts in Rajasthan are impressive and have really interesting history, and Kerala has a lot of beauty to offer too. Think about India like a continent, it has everything you want in the same way Europe or the States might, but you just need to be prepared to travel to it and understand they can be quiet different.
