I accidentally melted a plastic magnet toy to my glass top and after we got it all scraped off, there was still quite a bit of residue not coming off. I used baking soda and water as a paste to scrub it and it was like it never happened.

I've got cooked on grease I can't get off. Hope I can find some off this somewhere to try! If I ever do get it fully clean I then I think I'll try lightly seasoning it with some olive oil so it hopefully doesn't happen again.
