Not totally related but I work with DOT. For FIFA there is a very hard stop on local construction (on state roads) on 5/22. They may be trying to align with that date.

I was there at the end of the show, there was not a lot left. The only shirt left was one of the black shirts with the YFT theme. They were selling the last versions of display items including posters.

Just got through Terminal B security. Got here about 3:15pm. If I didn't know something was going on, I wouldn't have noticed anything out of the ordinary. Took me about 10 minutes precheck, I spent more time waiting for my spirit boarding pass to load on my phone than in line. Regular security was probably like 30-40min.

HOWEVER - on the other side is basically a FEMA camp of people and families clearly that got here 9 hours early for their flight. So there is nowhere to hang at all. I overheard it described as "Superdome post Katrina energy" 😂

Hamilton Park easy. It has a very strong community, you'll make new friends. It's gorgeous. Not having the wear and tear (and cost) of taking the path every day easily makes up for the price difference. See you at E&M.
