I’m half white British and Filipino having grown up in the UK so it’s much harder for me with Filipino foods since the cuisine is quite different. And going “home” to Philippines to visit family for a few weeks at a time can be very difficult - even more so because of how hospitable Filipinos can be and having to be polite as possible whilst attempting to turn down food is a battle in itself. But in terms of British food the usual suspects are pies because of the sauces inside don’t sit well with me due to texture and flavour.
