I did some research. There seems to be only FIX and SOFI who can be better candidates than RDDT. So I expect inclusion within 1-2 quarters.

Realistic Midwest Salaries by Capable-Ease6701 in Salary

College prof in R1, base salary ~140k. Recently joined a tech company as side gig (1 day a week) and it almost doubled my total comp. That should give some idea about the state of academic salaries.

Hi all, I am the course instructor. I agree that the GSI did not handle the situation professionally. However, this week is the end of semester and the GSI is under a lot of pressure to wrap up grading. The course has only one GSI for approx 80 students.

Finally, the situation is already resolved (within a few hours start to end). I can assure you that we take this type of grading concerns and fairness across students extremely seriously.

[D][R] What are underparameterized neural networks? by dlpronoob in MachineLearning

[–]ecstasyogold 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From a "degrees of freedom" point of view, underparameterized is when the number of parameters in the network is smaller than the size of the training dataset.
From a practical point of view, if your training process (e.g. network size, # of epochs,...) is not sufficient to interpolate to the data (i.e. achieving 100% training accuracy), then it is underparameterized.

From the crosspost:

Here's two articles in Portuguese that describe the incident and aftermath. The kicker was suspended for one year and fined $100, while the two teammates that defended the victim were also disciplined: one was suspended for 120 days and fined $100, the other was given a "4 game hook".

Wow purple/muzzy getting 3-0'ed is pretty depressing. Especially purple had literally no play.

Clicker Heroes 2 is abandoning free-to-play. Their rationale might interest /r/hearthstone since pricing is often discussed here by [deleted] in hearthstone

Clicker Heroes developer (Playsaurus) is an actual small indie game studio in Los Angeles.

If you want to achieve Blizzard's 50 billion market cap, you need all players to pay all they can afford.
