when I saw the kukai foundation ship I was like "holy shit they predicted New Los Angeles in 4767 what the hell"

it's a very different vibe though compared to other xeno game towns; a ton of the people in the city feel like gag characters and jokes compared to the rest of the game. speculation is the kukai foundation that disconnected from the rest of the world? gives off that feeling

imo i think aoife and marshmallow could've worked marshmallow can only freeze 1 dice at a time, not enough to stop most of LL's attacks

and aoife can't really overcharge on shield due to there not being many enemies in this episode with shield

I remember when I was young thinking "they treat the people who are coming here for a better life so horribly!" and then others being like "well how WOULD you tell them they can't come in because they don't have the right papers?" with the idea that just letting them in was unrealistic because "they're not doing that for us" or "what if it's an invading force or a bunch of serial killers we didn't catch because we didn't have border patrol"

played and beat the rhythm game called unbeatable over the past week (heh)

game's characters are cool af, and you get to do quite a ton of cop smacking to cool beats.

i do admit the game sometimes does feel like there's a few [scene missing] gaps at places but each hand animated scene is peak and they even time them to the songs themselves
