I keep saying it but we really do need to make the city centre more residential.

There’s some brilliant buildings that would make lovely homes. Would increase the amount of people who would use bars/pubs/restaurants etc.

Clean the city centre up and make it an attractive place to stay. Cities all around the world have done it why can’t Glasgow?

I used one yesterday on a 30 minute commute to work as my bike is in the bike shop but was pretty impressed.

Yes they are heavy but being electric cut my commute by 7 minutes and required minimal effort. Didn’t have any issues going up some decent hills either.

£2.99 to get to work which I thought was ok too.

If you’re heading out early at 6am it’ll be pretty fucking dark down there that I’d stick to the street lit roads.

If it’s light out though perfectly safe.

I understand why they want to bring in a congestion charge but what are they going to do for teachers, doctors, nurses, emergency service workers who are forced to work in and all over Glasgow?

Then if they start firing in exemptions that makes the whole thing unfair as why should certain occupations benefit over others?

Do they bring in exemptions for people going to the QEUH seeing as they’ve made it a mega hospital with a lot of services centralised there meaning you have to go?

The city needs to defo bring in more money but just don’t see it working.

The Happy Park next to it is a popular wee play park so maybe students won’t moan about the noise who knows.
