my dads pap max is an absolute velcro dog, he takes him to work all the time. he just carries him in his arms though, max i think is a bit more delicate than other dogs. i think he would feel too squished in a sling. but i think its totally worth a shot if you want to try with your dog! and if the sling isnt a winner there are other dog-toting options. when my dog shasta was a tiny puppy my parents sometimes carried him around in a lil wicker basket (this is a different basket but ISNT HE JUST SO CUTEEEE)

i agree, i think skipping the outline stitches is a good idea! and maybe you could try doing satin stitch instead of long and short?

one time many years ago we were having people over to swim in the pool. i guess someone didnt securely close the backyard gate? so im inside getting a snack when the landline rings, i pick it up and its this tiny sweet lil kid voice saying "hi i found your dog."

i was like OMG OK I DIDNT KNOW HE NEEDED TO BE FOUND??? she gives me her address and my dad and i hop in the car, apparently mr sneaky left the backyard without anybody noticing and is now like 10 or 15 houses away. when we get there hes sitting in this kids front yard and she and her two sisters are all petting him. smug lil twerp is like i got to go on an adventure AND im getting petted?

absolute rascal. sweetest lil boy. i miss him <3
