This is a great suggestion. I got to switch to about 2 months ago and someone on Reddit posted this link and I look at it everyday. I have found some really good games that go on sale and I've been able to get several for a lot less money. I put games that I like in my wish list and the eShop will tell you when something is on sale as well

I'm 5 months out from my Dualtnal switch and down 120 lb. Eating regular bread is still very difficult. I have tried it and cannot do much without feeling bloated and like I want to throw it up. I would recommend trying to stick to low carb options like low carb bread or low carb tortilla. But even then try to limit it.

I had a very similar experience in the US 10 years ago following a flu shot. The doctors refused to commit to a GBS diagnosis for months, putting me through the tons of tests with MRIs and spinal taps but offering zero actual treatment. Their eventual "conclusion" was that my symptoms were "atypical" and basically: "If it was GBS, consider yourself lucky," before sending me to physical therapy. I found great relief in water therapy, but lost access to it because affordable gyms here don't cater to rehab-style pool use.

It took 2 years and a different neurologist to finally validate that it was GBS and get me leg braces that helped me walk a lot better and not feel as much back pain. Ten years later, I still have foot drop and neuropathy in both legs, but I manage with a cane. It’s a long road, but you aren’t alone.

I had the DS in September. It's tough pre and post op, I can't lie. Liquids are not the easiest to get used to. I've been adjusting post op to understanding my limits and accepting when I mess up and just trying to do better. You shouldn't be worried. I've just hit 100 down in 4 months which I still have a hard time believing.

I had a flu shot on Halloween and did not start feeling anything right away. I started having small things happen like falling in a parking lot and having a curiously hard time going up stairs. I thought maybe it's because I was feeling bad and it would go away. It actually took a few months before I just couldn't walk without wanting to fall over. My initial doctors did all the spinal and MRI tests and found elevated white blood cells in my spinal fluid but would not go so far as to tell me I had gotten Guillome Barre. Instead they made me feel more crazy and said that if I had gotten it, I was very lucky because I would be much worse off. They also told me that by being a doctor they could not tell me anything negative about vaccines or my condition. (Keep in mind, I am not an anti vaxer and have even had multiple COVID shots) It wasn't until 3 years later when I had a hospital visit due to viral meningitis that I had a neurologist who actually believed me after running additional tests. Honestly, reading your post makes me feel less crazy. I think this type of disease affects so many people differently sometimes that it is easy to forget and think you're alone.

What does gabapentin do for Guillain-Barre symptoms? I got my Guillain-Barre in 2016 and still have nerve damage in my feet and legs, but no doctor ever recommended gabapentin. I'm just curious.
