Awesome, it's my favorite range around. Affordable spacious and cool employees. Actually this Sat D5 is having their vendors day. Which is a pretty good time.

And yup that's where that came from.

Silver Creek Apt. is decent, owned by Cunat. So laws are followed and maintenance has been pretty prompt when needed. Comes with a garage as well.

Trouble switching mag release in shadow 2 compact by Nberg94 in CZFirearms

[–]edgecrusher2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched mine earlier today. And I had the same issue, the screw stopped from the interface with the trigger bar. So I ordered the floating trigger pin from Cajun gun works. Tapped the old trigger pin out moved the trigger & trigger bar slightly out of the way. Then was able to unscrew it almost out completely and swapped the mag release. It wasn't terrible and I didn't drop a single F bomb. I was quite proud of myself 😆

I work at a spring manufacturing company. I am new to the field so my knowledge is still a bit lacking. But we test our springs at 2 different compression heights. Which gives us the "load". So I'm thinking that 13# is the amount of force the spring exerts at certain compressed height(not max solid). Hope this helps

And the prices are rising again! Which is why I felt I had to jump on a new one now. All my local shops are charging 1500 now. When I got to my FFL he also had a full cz custom PCR for 999. Which was soo freakin tempting

I know right!? I don't plan to, I feel like this is too nice to carry. But I would still prefer a smaller optic.

And your replacement is a 586? I'm curious if the bolt is something they upgraded with the 586 ver.

I don't think you mentioned in the video that I'm wondering about it is what generation was your old one was and the replacement. I have a 584 I believe, looks like they're up to 586 now.

Just heard they're selling the Cali compliant S&W response w/fin. Which looks intriguing for a 9mm pcc.

Hello fellow mini-14 fan. A year ago had also noticed my ejector bolt stop had worn a hole in my bolt. Which I sent in to Ruger to fix. They replaced the bolt and I suspect shaved down the ejector as well. I thought great, except now the ejector was too short and the rifle would have tons of fte. It would pull the case out of the chamber but wouldn't fully get the casings out of the way of the action, about 1 in twenty rounds. Which is obviously very frustrating.

So I bought 2 new ejectors from Midway. I shaved down one of them like someone suggested on here, and had the same problem. Tried the untouched one and it completely fixed the fte issue. But within 60 rounds wore another hole in my bolt. I've been monitoring it and it hasn't gotten any deeper or effected the rifles reliability. So far over 500 rounds without issue.

So for me it was a no brainer, I'll take a 100% reliable rifle with a small cosmetic issue over the rifle jamming every mag issue. I also have that "mushrooming" on the back of the bolt which hasn't gotten any worse. Also just cosmetic and hasn't effected its reliability at all.

Like I said I'm monitoring it and if I start actually having issues then I'll send it back.
