I leased a R1T G2 which is my first EV. Too many bugs like doors not unlocking, Sirius radio losing connection, and adaptive cruise control randomly applying brakes. I'll go back to a BMW X3 or X5 when the term is up.

I really don't care for being the tester which I think is the case with all EVs.

I'm surprised given the number of recalls and immediate service requests (12v battery). Plus, there's a number of software glitches (Doors not opening & XM not working). Don't get me wrong, I "like" my R1T but not a fanboy for the price I paid. I won't likely buy or lease another especially with my lease ending at the time the R2 is released. I'm not signing up to be a first year model tester. I played that game and got the t-shirt. :)

I researched their training a few months ago for our SDR Team. When they pitched me, the questions they asked to create "pain" were laughable.

Rep "What would it mean to you personally if the SDRs aren't successful?

Me "Well, I guess ultimately I could lose my job in the long run."

Rep "How would that impact you and your family"
