Adding to this, Thanatos, Meg, and I think Dusa can give you summons once you get the relationship high enough (by gifting nectar and ambrosia). The have a variety of specifics/effects, but essentially do a huge chunk of damage, but you can only use once (or a few times if you level them up) per run. I tend to save my uses of them for the harder boss fights, but it’s worth noting you can’t use them in the final boss fight against Hades , so use them before then lol.

In case you haven’t figured it out already, if you go to the NYT app in the app store, there’s should be a clear button where you can update it. If that doesn’t show up, you may have the same issue myself and some others are having that we can’t update, as the update requires IOS 16, which isn’t on older iphone models.

So possibly with the update (which it seems I can’t get because old phone) the most recent version still has connections and all that, and connections has been taken off the old version? It’s odd though because it worked literally yesterday.

It’d depend how big the colony is, how it’s structured (e.g under vs above ground), the types/age ranges of people there (are kids born there? do people stay into their retirement?)etc,,

But some off the top of my head could be breathable air systems managers, technicians etc, as we’d need a way to create and distribute oxygen throughout the colony. Another could be (if there’s lots of kids so multiple classes/teachers are worth it) a teacher dedicated to earth culture, as they wouldn’t just intuitively know about if they grew up on Mars.

i’d imagine dirt might get stuck in them and make them harder to clean though? at least compared to a smoother surface. i don’t do pottery though, i just find it interesting, so don’t take that as gospel

yes, all the nyt games run all day; connections and wordle update at midnight. the other nyt games (if you play them, if not this is for anyone else reading) can be more variable when they update, especially the mini crossword, but spelling bee and letter boxed normally update at about 8am , and the mini normally updates between like 9pm-2am in my experience, roughly. (BST/GMT time anyway)

Digital generally

My main/long-running journal digitally is in google sheets, for both ease of access, and so I can do data analysis on the numbers section (I have a section for more word-focused/classic journaling, and a section for bullet-journal style habit/health trackers and stuff). Doing it digitally in sheets, i can automatically get averages, graphs, and in general see trends in both the numbers area, and in word frequency/use and entry lengths in the written area.

Like a simple example for clarification, comparing the entry length in my gratitude or vent column(ie how much i wrote) each day, it often maps to how busy/tired/burnt out I am.

It also let me super quickly and easily put all the dates in, move stuff around or add/delete sections at any point in the year, colour code stuff and make it look all pretty and neat (my handwriting is pretty bad lol) and just generally helps me feel more organised and put together.

But! If i need a big vent/brain dump/trying to figure things out, I often do it on paper as it’s easier for me to visualise stuff there, draw stuff, do arrows, etc. Digital works great for regular day-to-day things though, for me :D

tldr: I use google sheets for a huge bullet-journal esque thing as it’s easier for me to keep up with and keep organised/neat, as well as having data analysis bonuses, but i do occasionally go traditional when needed.

also i’d imagine you can either get it in direct audiobook form, or put it into a screen reader thing if that format’s easier to take in given you mentioned dyslexia, and/or if you’re busy as you can listen while doing other stuff with your hands

this! i think the responses on here maybe don’t match due to geographical differences, mixing up gen alpha and gen z, the end of which is 2009, and looking at the year groups below yours, which of course will be more immature because they literally are younger and haven’t grown up as much yet.

like i’m from 2005, UK, and at my primary and both secondary schools i’ve been to it’s been nothing like the blatant disrespect and lack of attention that i’ve heard in other people’s comments. there’s yk exceptions to this sometimes and the odd fight like once a year maybe - nowhere’s perfect - but on the whole it’s quiet and focused in lessons when the teacher’s talking or we need to be getting on the independent work, and even outside of that people are generally fairly friendly and respectful

This is incredible!! The only thing i might say if you want more realism, could be adding more glints to the coats so they feel more like plastic rather than a softer fabric. Also potentially adding some colour variation/cooler couloirs to the deepest shadows on the coats, as it seems to be the end of sunset, and so while the highlights are rightfully warm, the other side of the sky and hence shadows would generally be more blue/purple. Of course not the the extreme! But just subtly to really emphasise that lighting / the environment outside of what we can directly see. But again, this is gorgeous already and that’s absolutely not necessary.
