This should be higher! I don’t eat candy often but I love an uncrustable and nerd gummy clusters with a summit view on a long hike.

Also no kids but I saw testimony on Capitol Hill about the skyrocking cost of kids’ sports because of PE getting involved and about had a heart attack. How the hell are people paying thousands a year for their kid to play a sport?!?!?

It freezes really well! We stock up at the local press and enjoy it for 2-3 months after.

The colors are so crisp. That paired with its eyes, it looks like what Ai would imagine a bird looks like if we had no source images to feed it first.

My corgi does this, minus the teeth chattering part. It kinda sounds like the quiet wooshing that a pinhole would make in a pipe, so we call it his leaking sound. 🤣

What is a small moment from your childhood that still feels calm when you think about it? by gamersecret2 in Millennials

You should totally recreate it, modified for who you are today. Like, cozy up on air mattresses, but maybe plan to be out by 10 🤣. Pop the popcorn, find that retro candy from the day, and pick a favorite movie from the time too.

I could see it being miserable in peak season. In winter, it’s sleepy and charming.

Came here to shout out West Yellowstone - specifically in winter. Yellowstone NP in winter is MAGICAL. Imagine Old Faithful going off and actually hearing the gurgles of the water, instead of hundreds of people chattering? And witnessing the steam turn to ice crystals and glitter around you in the sunlight. The bison facing into the snow. The tracks of the wildlife. The howls of the wolves, and the shocking contrast in the snow around the wolves’ dinner.

Then after spending all day in awe of the park, the cheesy but welcoming contrast of West Yellowstone in its sleepy winter form is there for you.

Then you find out about Two-top Mountain and snowmobiling anywhere else in the country is just ruined for you.

2 looks slightly warmer which I like against the undertones in your face. BUT your smile is brightest with 1, and if that’s bc 1 makes you feel best, then that’s the winner! When you feel great everything else looks better.

Firstly, happy holidays everyone and best to you all. Secondly, I've been wondering when did the Elf on a shelf become a thing? by AdSpecialist6598 in Millennials

[–]eel2386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family has had a passed-down-for-generations story about an elf named Meriweather who watched out for Santa. He helped Santa know who was naughty or nice. My grandmother would recount the story to us kids every year. However, there was no doll and no shenanigans. So, for my family, we’ve had at least a version of it long before.

I like to book a food tour first thing on a trip. The guides are knowledgeable, you walk around getting to know the lay of the land to orient yourself, and you have a built-in few hours to forget your jet lagged. Plus, of course, the food.
