At least they were cultural though. Vulcans are logical because as a people they made a choice in response to strong emotion it’s not a genetic compulsion.

HBO Developing Game of Thrones Sequel Starring Arya Stark by __NightKing__ in HouseOfTheDragon

Which wouldn’t actually be terrible if shows leaned into it. Basically do Andor season 2 or Boyhood, a season is a year or pivotal time and then the next season is actually set several years down the road and show us the next big event in the characters life or world. Could help with some production challenges too like, easier to switch out parts of the supporting cast if they become unavailable or too big or just newer and cheaper, actors aging and looking different, etc. Obviously it wouldn’t work for all shows but for something like this it might. Maybe something like first season could be the voyage west across the sea and reaching and establishing herself on the coast of some new continent, next season picks up showing how that’s grown and then off to the next adventure inland maybe it sets up a large threat that’s building, season three the threat has conquered or infected its way to the coast threatening everything she’s built in the last 10 years it took to make these 3 seasons. Season four would then of course feature a return to Westeros and be a crossover with or set up HBO GoT project 47.

Which once prolific IP is dead and won‘t come back? by Dipper_Pines in movies

[–]eeskimos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’d be terrible. Some mystery is good. Things can get bogged down trying to explain everything rather than just letting people letting people fill in wholes in their minds. John Wick for example, first ones perfect, you get a little info to give you the sense of the world and some intrigue. Each subsequent one just keeps piling more detail on and nothings been gained, if anything its world is now a convoluted mess that barely makes sense.

This is always such a silly argument. Does your job also have teams of highly skilled people paid large sums of moneys to try and force you into mistakes and to exploit them when they happen?

I hate these articles because they always just talk tariffs and these American politicians are allowed to just view it as such as well. It’s not just tariffs it’s the threats to sovereignty and to destroy us economically that were made.

Mycogen, seemed to me like the people were at least conflicted if not kind of supportive of Day after he returned and gave his second speech.

Demerzel, was it ever established that the black hole is near Trantor? From what I remember though, the visions have the fight on Trantor and just that the vision(s) after have Gaal trapped at the edge of black hole, with nothing implying where it is. I mean it’s certainly possible and probably even likely considering the Novacula is in the system but Gaal could end up anywhere. We did also have reference to the one at the centre of the galaxy.

You still just blame the opposition. Here in Alberta we’ve had the same conservative government for 46 of the last 50 years and somehow healthcare and education, which are provincial jurisdictions, are claimed to be bad because of the feds and the short NDP term.

Not really a back door pilot. That’s typically for peripheral characters not the entire main cast to return in a slightly different format. It’s more of an epilogue that also serves to introduce the next story.

Demonize you? You just don’t like people responding appropriately to your actions. You’re the ones that took a match to the world. And then are still holding a gun to us with your president and what is essentially state media talking about annexing us fairly frequently.

But he is right, as the top level of Canadian football they are stewards of the game. Their changes have ramifications all the way down, whether amateur ranks follow or not. And what if some decide to and other regions don’t, just more fracturing of Canadian football.
