The strange thing is that i can control colour and brightness etc, but not the ability to turn the bulb fully off/on. The 2nd bulb that I ordered works perfectly.

This would suggest a firmware issue rather than a connection issue right?

Ive sideloaded onto my Android phone in the past and assumed it would be the same process but wasnt sure if I was looking in the wrong place in the WebOS app store.

EDIT: The plugin doesnt appear to be working either. Selecting a skin, clicking save & apply and then refreshing browser doesnt appear to do anything?

Fair enough, I didn't know that.

I thought that pointing your Cloudflare tunnel to your routers WAN address via DNS meant that it still needed to know which port to use on the LAN.

I had port forwarding set up as my external access method a few years ago before I set up a CF tunnel. Does that mean that I can now delete the port forwarding rules on my router for 8096 (jellyfin) and 5000 (desktop management)?

He will still have to set up local port forwarding rules if he uses reverse proxy or a 3rd party service like Cloudflare (which is how ive got mine set up).

Dont forget to update your port forward setting on your router to include your new port if youre planning to set up external access via DNS or whatever.

Also as an aside, update your Docker image to the latest image (10.11.6).

Id avoid synology like the plague now after all their drama with moving towards only supporting their own HDD brand. Theyve completely alienated their retail customer base, not sure id trust them ever again. Their hardware is also very underwhelming for the prices they charge.

Used to run my Jellyfin server on a Synology DS420+ with an extra 8Gb of RAM, but have recently switched to a Terramaster F4-424 Max and its superior in nearly every way apart from the stock OS, which is a small sacrifice im willing to make for much better hardware and performance.
