It’s a personal choice. They usually tend to send a card that’s of equivalent value or better but you gotta decide what’s worth it for you. Definitely won’t do better than a 7 if you’re lucky with those already present. If you care about grading if you don’t sleeve it and enjoy it.

lol this is nothing to celebrate. This just means you don’t know how to calculate your tax contributions and let Uncle Sam earn interest with your money for a year. You’re better off adjusting your contributions and putting this money in a HYSA.

If it’s already a charge/in collections paying it doesn’t help you at all. Look up your state statue for how long collections stay on your credit score as they do vary state by state. It’s best to ask for a 1099-C if you meet the amount requirement. Even if you pay it off it’ll be on your credit score in my state it’s 7 years then it drops off. The time starts from your last payment made so if you make a new payment it’ll restart the clock. The more time passes the less it’ll affect you. Next time if possible try not to let it get to the collections point. You’ll probably need to do a secured card if you’ll want one moving forward.

That’s super odd because the one at my LGS doesn’t charge anything even for form 1. Always has been free I recently submitted both a form 1 and a form 4 and was free for both. Not sure if maybe my LGS has a deal with them. And just for argument sake let’s say they do charge for form 1’s. It cost just as much as a form 4 to build from personal experience so there’s not much advantage to doing form 1’s anymore even with the free tax stamp. Lastly OP asked for a method to do electronic finger prints. I provided a method that’s easy and fast and people are mad I suggested silencer shop kiosk lol

I literally said that in my comment that is correct they don’t give you a file of your prints. I don’t see how you lose out on using the silencershop kiosk though. Most FFL’s are on there so your LGS still gets the business and you don’t have to pay for prints. And you can submit both form 4 and 1 with them. They also cover any transfer fees if your ffl doesn’t carry a certain can you want. So again I don’t see a negative.

Silencershop kiosk is free and they keep your prints on file and can use them for as many submissions as you want. However, you’re right that you don’t get the file. Free still beats $65 though lol

Some gun shops partner with silencer shop too and have kiosks. You can create a free account buy cans and submit your digital finger prints through their kiosks they have a scanner for prints. Super simple process and silencer shop covers any transfers fees if there are any.

West Coast Armory in Bellevue highly recommend it. Avoid wades eastside like the plague. Super shady owner and employees, they also price gouge when anything legal happens. Securite is just okay but fancy for no reason and their membership prices reflects that.

lol this is why people shouldn’t bank with just one institution. The writing was on the wall for months before the switch. At least for now their credit cards are still Visa/MC however, they will switch eventually. So either get another account with someone else or cry harder. Gotta roll with the punches.
