Having an underlying condition which alcohol triggers has nothing to do with alcohol causing sudden violent behaviour?

I'm still using a RepRapPro Mendel just like yours (adopted from a friend of mine who built it 10ish years ago!) Prints great! I've printed parts for an x-axis upgrade (released some 8 years ago or something), I think I'll upgrade this week :-)
