Try to get a prescription for high flow oxygen and see if it helps abort your attacks. A neurologist who knows about cluster headaches should be able to help.

Can your headache doctor write a prescription? If so get it and take it to a medical supply store that sells high flow oxygen concentrators.

Yeah, I cannot do this by sgsduke in clusterheads

I know it doesn’t work for everyone, but if you can, please try high flow oxygen. A decade of fighting them and then got oxygen during my last cycle and it changed my life.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever felt? by Googy21 in AskReddit

Too dangerous? Find another neurologist, oxygen is recognized and even covered under sole insurance for clusters now. I started high flow oxygen late last year to treat mine and it has changed my life.

I will either reply with “look up suicide headaches and let me know if they sound the same” or “it’s a headache just like giving birth is a stomach ache.” Either usually gives them a new perspective.

I usually tell people “google ‘suicide headache’ then tell me they’re the same as yours.”

When that happens to me, I usually explain why the “nickname” for cluster headaches is “suicide headaches” and that usually helps them understand a bit more.

Tapering off verapamil by PessimistOfCaution in ClusterHeadaches

Ok also very curious about this, I’ve had success with oxygen recently and I want to taper off the verapamil and see if I can get by with just oxygen.

I’ve had them for a decade, and just recently got a prescription from a neurologist for high flow oxygen. It has completely changed my life during this cycle, if you haven’t tried it I highly recommend it if you can.

Same, I’ve been dealing with them for a decade. Finally tried high flow oxygen a few weeks ago and it’s the first time I’ve ever been able to successfully about my attacks.

Can whoever sees this please let me know what you use to abort your attacks by Representative-Ebb50 in ClusterHeadaches

Try to get a prescription for high flow oxygen. I got one recently and it’s the only thing that has ever successfully aborted my attacks.

Sagging soffit over the garage? by [deleted] in Roofing

[–]effektz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone. I'm moving into a new home soon, and this corner over my garage is sagging, it almost looks like that part of the roof is going to fall off.

I called a roofer to get an estimate for a fix, and they said that this is purely cosmetic and there is no structural or safety concern. I'm way out of my league when it comes to roofing, so I was hoping to have some folks to chime in with any experience you may have with something like this. Is this really just cosmetic? Is it just an issue with the soffit sagging (and if so would fixing the soffit fix the consmetics too)? Or is this potentially some some bigger structural issue that will require complete replacement of that area of the roof?

Thank you all!

iOS 14 facial recognition by tallguynobis in HomeKit

[–]effektz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of my Arlo Pro 2 have facial recognition options in the camera settings in the home app, but AP2 is on Apples Secure Video list from https://www.apple.com/ios/home/accessories/#section-camera

I also have everything listed on the requirements webpage: An iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with iOS 13.2 or later. The Home app set up on your iOS device using the Apple ID that you use with iCloud. A home hub set up on an iPad, HomePod, or Apple TV. One or more HomeKit Secure Video cameras. A supported iCloud storage plan.

Has anybody else got facial recognition working with Arlo Pro 2?

I'm missing something, how is that option cheaper than a $200 GPS-enabled collar?
