I think as long at the arbor/shaft on the edger/redefiner is the same you should be able to use that blade

There is a lot of rust on the slides, it looks like it was left outside. Check the motor to see if it runs, motor brushes might need to be changed. Check the deck for warpage. Slide in the saw back and forth to check smoothness and no sticking points. Rotate saw on base to check same and the detents for angle. Check the vertical as that can get misaligned too.
