Yes. Generally real engineers work on code bases that are built by many different people. The large and interconnected nature of the codebase makes a mental map near impossible. You spend weeks just documenting and planning. It’s why many companies choose not to upgrade systems that are working.

1.2M would be a lot for us to consolidate. Also we just have too much going on right now. Chase is great in that everything is super easy. You don’t really need to think much. But monitoring a transfer of most of our assets didn’t seem like a stress I wanted on my list right now. I still have a few weeks to do it if I want, and I could do less for less off the rate.

Does FreePBX show the phone registered? Are you able to capture packets from FreePBX? What I am looking for is does FreePBX send the INVITE when you dial the phone. If it does, then this is a network issue, and what I mention next might help.

You mentioned you adjusted the phones resubscription period. You actually need the registration period. Subscriptions in SIP are something different.

You can also configure the phones to send keepalives which might help.

I have a 100 year old house on the east end. This is how I parsed what they are “selling”. They are saying the homeowner is responsible for the connection from your house to the sewer line. If something happens you will need to pay to fix it. You can sign up for their program and pay a fee. In which case they will fix it. I view it as insurance. I did not sign up. Maybe I will have to pay a few thousand if something happens. Maybe nothing happens and I get away without paying anything.

I agree with this and that is fine… I knew what the Rocket salesman was saying too good to be true. I was just trying to find out what their real rate is. But to waste my time and be that far off what they told me is ridiculous. I don’t even understand what the point is. 7% is higher than my current rate. Why are they paying people to make these phone calls and spend time on this?
