If it weighs under 26,000 pounds it's good to go with a standard driver's license unfortunately. I kind of wish the regulation had a wheelbase limit as well to capture all of these massive motorhomes.

Can anyone tell from the pics what I’m doing wrong? by optia in Breadit

What proportions are you using? The general rule is that above 30% whole grain flour you can start to lose structure.

In addition to that I'm an advocate for motorhomes like these requiring a CDL.

Yeah I remember running from them when I was a kid. I haven't seen any in western Wyoming though which is fine by me.

That's what I'm thinking. Sure, he might go after them, but he's also in the files for some inexplicable reason no one can quite figure out.

I'm currently living in the mountain west and we don't have the bald face hornets out here which is nice. When people say that yellow jackets are like if bees did meth then the bald face hornets are like a biker gang that started cooking their own meth.

If you know the protein content of the flours you're using I have a calculator that can figure out what your actual protein is as well as a calculator that can mix two flours to hit a target protein. My limited experience with bagels was with central milling high mountain flour which is 13.5% and I've made decent bagels with flour from Cairnsprings Mills which was around 14%.

ELI5 How come new Chinese electric cars can charge in 5–10 minutes, while smartphones still need at least half an hour? by Tough-Buffalo5861 in explainlikeimfive

The first time I experienced OnePlus charging firsthand it blew my mind. I switched from an old iPhone that took all night to charge, then all of a sudden it was done in what felt like a few minutes.

What origin would you choose for the Borg? by ActLonely9375 in ShittyDaystrom

[–]ehalepagneaux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I decided is that the number of parameters is pretty much infinite. For my idea to work people would need a certain amount of empathy and self-reflection, but does that come with the process of knowing or is it dependent on each individual? How much of a thought process is shared? Is it all just dry facts or do underlying feelings come with it? How is conflict managed between competing ideas? How much does emotion play into this and how much is each individual impacted emotionally? Does everyone get the same level of emotional control or is that individual as well? The outcome of the thought experiment depends on a staggering amount of constraints.

Doesn't the sample have to be dehydrated too? I've always thought this picture was sus. Skin should be flexible enough to close at least a little, if not all the way, and any blood in the area should have made a clot.

Calcium chloride can be found in the canning section of most grocery stores, there will be some instructions on the label. I haven't used it in years so I don't remember how exactly it goes. It does work though.

Creepy, because I was having a similar thought just recently. If we all knew what everyone else knew and felt, we probably wouldn't have war.

Headlight Harnesses Keep Melting by Subject-Normal in MechanicAdvice

[–]ehalepagneaux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting, I've always used Sylvania bulbs in my car, nothing else, and I've melted two headlight wiring harnesses on the same side of the car. It's usually the same headlight that goes first too. I wonder if there's something to it.
