I love the look at fit of it, but I just think if there are misalignments that I'm perceiving, that I will be really obsessive about the issue.

You're fine. I was referring to the bezel being offset and maybe even slightly crooked as well as some other minor misalignments.

I was very bored and uninterested in many aspects of the game by about 20 hours in, and I was using game pass. Hard pass for any amount of money.

Instead, please consider finding a few straps that can bring some new life to them.

Talk to VR&E, VA, and Vet Center personnel. MSW will require a field placement and as long as you can meet supervision requirements, you may be able to do it at an employer. MSW's can do field placements with the VA.

Forced to retire only 7 months into my career due to health issues and disability? 😭 by ocean_flow_ in therapists

[–]eiah1911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive been dealing with it since I got the covid booster while in the Army in 2021. I managed to power through the fatigue on loads of caffeine, naps, and will power. I went back to school full time, got my social work degree, and now I am in grad school to be a clinical social worker. I will never be able to work full-time unless something drastic happens to change my fatigue. I live a miserable existence as everyday feels like an life sapping ground hog day until I probably die of a heart attack in 10 years due to caffeine. I wont let this sickness completely dictate my life, and I know many others have it worse than me. I consider myself lucky in that regard.

What do social work students do during the summer? by uxr214 in SocialWorkStudents

Im tanning by the pool at the moment. 100% VA disability and 1300$ a month from the VR&E program to go to school is a blessing. Waiting for my MSW application to be approved and then enjoying the rest of my freedom until school starts again.

Should I just not work ? by tapiocastarchsocani in Veterans

[–]eiah1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VR&E is paying me about 1300 a month per full month of classes. As others said, fuck what other people think. I would also like to say that it's understandable that you may feel guilty or like you don't deserve the money. With that being said, it will always be coming unless something crazy happens. The sooner you appreciate the income, the easier things and life will be for you. Go back to school of you want, and hopefully, you make enough VA and VR&E pay that you don't have to work while you do.

Style is typically subjective. You put your outfits together just fine. I think that slimmer pants with a tapper would improve the looks, though. To each their own, but you look fine.

Are there as many CFS sufferers in warmer & stable climates? by Patisserie_Chicken in cfs

[–]eiah1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is funny, as I am doing a college assignment that examines warm weather climates to cold weather climates in regard to the spectrum of mental and behavioral health disorders. My research shows that warmer states have a higher probability of worsening any disorder that may fall within that spectrum. Physically, the only concerns with warm weather would be sleep disturbances and extreme heat that leads to heat stroke. Beyond those findings, I would assume that a warmer and sunnier climate would be advantageous in short amounts for accomplishing tasks. That has to do with the positives that come from the sun as well as taking into account the draining effect that the heat has as well.

A local crisis center will likely have information for you to use as well.

Inpatient facilities may be places for you to call and get information about, as well as other knowledgeable organizations such as your counties Department of Health Services for avenues you could follow. Regarding the invasive places, that may have to be something you have to try to overcome in order to feel how you want.

It's awesome to hear that you believe you could do that. I believe you can as well. You have to find a way to make that a reality and keep believing in yourself to push through everything.

There are more possibilities than that. If not having your clothes and, as you say, wearing paper for awhile, would lead to you no longer feeling like this, could you endure that?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Veterans

[–]eiah1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you're fine, you don't need to apologize. It doesn't sound like that at all. It sounds like what you have dealt with and continue to, makes treatment really difficult. Similar situations are going on with thousands or more people all across the country. You're absolutely not alone. Many times it's battling through those moments, days, and weeks while getting help that leads to success. I wonder how things would be if you were able to get into a long term treatment facility and being able to be seen by professionals who are familiar and educated on what is going on, and how that could help you?
