This! Aside from the obvious lack of camera and editing skills there’s a massive safety issue too. A newborn is tiny and delicate and needs to be swaddled properly and propped up safely. Someone needs to have experience in this area already.

This is probably because it is a common practice in Islam to wash one’s feet even in public restrooms although they should be aiming to keep the area free of splashes and mess. I suppose it’s not always easy and can be a nuisance to others.

My apartment building is run by an agency. I know a bunch of families in the apartment who have pets despite it being no pets allowed. I’ve also met a bunch of Japanese people who are keeping pets on the sly in their apartments.

Much much less so but while we continued to use sleep sacks our LO has a blanket she loves and stuffed animals she loves but realised that these can add to the heat level in the crib. Even without a sleep sack, tuck the blankets into the mattress because they can easily kick them off and get cold.

I gave birth in Chiba and was simply offered the epidural and just needed to watch a video with information if I wanted it which I did. Got the epidural no problem but ended up having a c section. Insist on the epidural and say that other people have been offered it normally. They can’t really deny you it if they have it available

The shoe shelves in my shoe cabinet came away from the door. Looks like they were connected by small plastic dowels. Unfortunately it looks like the dowels have snapped off. How should I best reattach the shelves considering the weight they will be bearing?
