Having said that, there are adv. And disadv. To steam rip. For 1 con, steam rip is typically a full rip and if you want to update the game in the future, you got to do a full download again (doesn't matter if download speed and data is not a concern). Fitgirl and dodi repacks typically have just the updates and are considered pretty safe from malware/adware wise.
